More Than This

Chapter 4

《Addisons POV》

I woke up and saw that Theo wasn't on the bed next to me. I got up and pulled my phone off the charger on the table next to me and checked the time. 6:42 AM. Crap i thought. I was going to be late. I walked downstairs and saw Theo smearing at least half of the jar of nutella onto a waffle, and looked at it in satisfaction. "Hey," I said pulling a chair from under the table across from Theo. "Oh hey, Addi. I made some waffles." Theo said smiling, and taking a bite of his waffle, and licking off the excess nutella on his lips. "Mmm yeah, yeah i see that." I say laughing and getting up and getting myself a plate from the cabinet. I turned to get myself some waffles and took one, then went back to my seat. I reached for the nutella and spread it onto my waffle when I felt someone looking at me. I looked up, and across from me, Theo was starring at me with an odd expression on his face. "What..?" I said, cocking an eyebrow up. Theo's facial expression changed and went back to normal and said, "lets ditch today." I took a bite out of my waffle and thought about it. "Okay... But if we get caught, then what?" I say. "We wont," Theo said with a proud smile. "Trust me. I've done it before." "Yeah, of course you have." i say smirking.

After i finish my breakfast, I went back up to my room to find an outfit to wear for the day. It then occured to me, that i didnt know what Theo and i were doing today. "Theo!" I yelled to him. He was still downstairs watching T.V. "Yeah?" He called back. "What are we doing today?" I said. "Its a surprise," he said, clearly smirking. "Just dress casually. We'll be doing a bit of walking." He called.

I chose a white crop top tank that said 'don't touch me. You're basic' in black letters, black high waisted jeans, and my white Converse that i hoped were now dry. I took a shower and then changed into my outfit. I straightened my hair and put on simple makeup; eyeliner, mascara, and a bit of blush. I took my bag from my closet and put my mint EOS, headphones, wallet, and charger inside. "Theo! Are you going to take a shower?" i yelled, thinking he was still downstairs. "What are you talking about? I already did." He said walking throught my door with only a towel wrapped around his waist. "Oh my god Theo, put some clothes on." I said rolling my eyes and walked out the door. "Don't pretend you dont like it," Theo winked, once i reached the door and turned back to him. "Oh trust me, i dont." i said and then left the room completely and headed downstairs.

After about another 30 minutes, Theo finally came downstairs. "Alright, you ready?" Theo asked me as he got the keys off the hook. I got off the couch and turned to him and saw what he was wearing. He had a simple gray hoodie with the strings left hanging, dark denim jeans, a black Neff beanie on his perfectly quiffed hair, and black Supras. "Yeah." I picked up my little purse and slung it over my shoulder. With its long strap, it almost reached my butt. "Wait," i said, and tugged at Theo's arm. He turned and looked down at me with his light brown, almost hazel eyes. I looked back and then looked down to the strings on his sweatshirt. I tied them into a bow and then left them alone and smiled. Theo grinned at my small gesture and put his hand on the small of my back as he led me out the door.

Theo opened the door to the passenger side for me and i got in. Then he jogged to the other side of the car and got in along with me. We pulled out of the driveway and I turned the radio on. One of my favorite songs, 'She Looks so Perfect' by 5 Seconds of Summer started playing through the speakers. I heard Lukes familiar voice and sang along with him. "IF YOU DONT SWIM, YOU'LL DROWN, BUT DONT MOVE, HONEY!" I sang at the top of my lungs, and laughed as Theo groaned, but soon sang along. "YOU LOOK SO PERFECT STANDING THERE IN MY AMERICAN APPAREL UNDERWEAR. AND I KNOW NOW, THAT IM SO DOWN!" We both sang.

After singing through many many songs, we finally got to Theo's "surprise". I recognized it automatically. It was my favorite place to go and Theo knew that. It was the Woodland Park Zoo. "Oh my gosh yes yes yes yes yes!" I squeeled. Theo laughed as we found a parking spot. When he parked the car, i hopped out and skipped to the enterance with Theo not far behind. Once he caught up to me, he put his arm around my shoulders casually and i hugged his waist and giggled like a little kid. "I havent been here in forever!" I smiled after I let go of him. "Haha i know, thats why i thought of bringing you here," he said.
