It was a sudden surprise when you felt an intense pain in your shoulder
A young woman was in front of you with dark hair and equally dark brown eyes
"Marlene! Get the first aid kit! Quick!"
Sister...I can tell we are getting nearer....I can feel your presence....it's much closer now....warmer....I promise little sister, we will find mother and our family will be complete...
Your body flinched as you suddenly opened your eyes, but your shoulder reminded you that it was still healing. You cursed feeling it ache but not as badly as when the man had caused you to tear your stitches.
Eventually the pain subsided and you were able to realize you weren't in the hospital, nor were you outside. You appeared to be in a home but why would anyone let you in their home?
Not to mention what happened when you were asleep?
When you threw the covers off of you, you noticed you were wearing a shirt that was definitely way too big on you. Unlike your previous shirt that you could just bundle up in a hair tie, this one was so big that it slumped off both of your shoulders loosely.
You were thankful the hospital was kind enough to give you a strapless bra so you didn't have to worry about your strap pressing down on your injury. You got up and walked over to the window beside your bed stealing a quick peek outside.
You could tell you were on a second or third floor of a building, judging by the busy chatter beneath you, there was maybe a store or a restaurant beneath you. One whiff and you could tell it was most certainly was a restaurant judging by the delicious aroma underneath you.
Your stomach growled in response to the smell, pleading you to investigate the smell. You recalled your last meal was a couple days ago when your friends were.... You shook your head reminding yourself that what happened in the past should remain in the past.
You opened the door as quietly as you possibly could resulting in a small, elongated creak to echo nonetheless. You just barely poked your head out and saw no one was in the hallway. You stepped out and looked around noticing to the left there was three doors including yours, but the other two were closed.
To your right was a spacious living room. You looked both ways out of paranoia before slinking down the hall. You looked around the bland living room noticing there was a few picture frames here and there as well as a house phone.
You walked over to one of the frames and picked it up to look at it more closely. It was the woman you saw who saved you with two kids; one a girl and one a boy, with a familiar looking blonde man.
You squinted and through the fade you could easily tell that was the man who had saved you a while back. You were going to think of a funny joke of how a couple had both saved your ass but was stopped when you heard footsteps.
"Oh good, your awake." A soft, motherly voice spoke.
You quickly turned around startled, until you noticed it was the dark haired woman. This must've been her home. You set the picture down and turned back towards her.
