New Years Eve, 2017

fuckn finally. I know I'm oveerrrr exaggerating about this party but ive been waiting for the new year to come for ages. i have a new years resolution to change who I am. be the better person my parents expected their daughter to be. i want to fix things between me and my family and pay my best friend back for all shes done for me.

shes picking me up in 20 minutes to go shopping for tonight. ive got some money from picking up the extra shifts at work this month. I had a quick shower and got changed then went on my phone waiting for her to pick me up

it didnt take us long to get our things for tonight. once we saw something we liked we got it. me and her aren't really picky on that sorta stuff. were at her apartment now getting ready. shes doing some makeup now and im curling my hair. I plan to not drink tonight as I'm 11 months sober. I change into my black dress. its short length so it finishes above my knees. its sorta like a crop top and skirt outfit because its shows almost my whole belly except theres a thing that wraps around my belly. its sorta hard to explain.

I don't really wear high heels but  y best friend has heaps and is lending me a pair to where for tonight. apparently they match y dress. her boyfriend is picking us up in about an hour. Im ready but shes still finishing her makeup.

"so you excited" I looked up fro my phone

"are you kidding! I cant fucking wait its been so long" she giggled

"just remember youre 11 onths sober don't ruin how well you've done so far" I rolled my eyes at her

"ye I know. I don't plan on touching any alcohol tonight" I looked back down at my phone
