Promise (Vic Fuentes)

"Vic! You ready?" I screamed across the hall to my best friend. "Yeah! Almost..just..one sec.." he mumbled in response. I sighed and made my way down the hall to see what he was doing. I peep into the bathroom and see vic, toying aroumd with something in his hands, mumbling things i couldn't even make out. I cleared my throat to signal that i was there, and he jumped a slight bit, taking whatever he was fideling around with and shoving it in his pocket. "Ready now?" I smirked. He just looked at me with surprise, and walked with me back in the living room. We grabbed everything we would need and made our way out the door, and to the park for our picnic.

*time skip to the park cause its 5 am and I'm lazy*

Vic spread the blanket out on the grass, and i sat down, grabbing everything from the picnic basket and laying in out. Vic sat next to me, grabbing his sandwich and eating quickly. He was acting a bit strange, ever since we left..even the walk here was awkward. And things between me and vic were never awkward.

"Vic?...you okay?" I ask quietly.

"Mhm. Fine." He replied, mouth full with a bite of his sandwich.

"Are you sure? Because you nev-" i started, but i was cut off by a group of girls.

"Oh my god! Vic Fuentes! Its really you! Can we pretty please get a picture?" They all yelled, hurridly grabbing their phones from there bags. Vic quickly swallowed the rest of his bite and smiled, standing up and posing for a picture. After a minute he sat back down, still smiling up at the girls.

"Oh wow, is this your girlfriend? She's gorgeous!" One of them said, pointing down at me. I blushed and smiled widely, i had never received a such a compliment before.

"Oh my god, thank you so much..but we're not-" i began to reply, but i was cut off again by vic.

"She really is isnt she! Yeah, she is definitely my one and only" vic said, putting and arm around me and pulling me close to him. He kissed my cheek and the group of girls all awed, taking a few more pictures of us and waving while walking away.

I pull away and look at vic in shock, kinda giving him a 'what the hell' look. He smiled and pulled out the thing from earlier out of his pocket, revealing a shiny silver ring. He held his hand out to me, grabbing mine and dropping the ring in it.

"Its not an engagement ring, its a promise ring. But before i continue, i need to ask you something y/n" he said, scooting closer to me. I nodded slowly and he continued.

"Y/n, would you do me the honor of being my beautiful girlfriend?" He smiled cheekily. I grinned widely while nodding, grabbing him in a tight hug. He pulled away and pulled out another ring from his pocket, putting it on himself. Once he did so he took mine from my hand and slipped it on my finger, looking down at me with a loving gaze.

"Now, we haved to promise eachother something. To never betray or hurt the other, and to forever and always love them, no matter what" vic said, still smiling. A single happy tear rolled down my face and i simply nodded, pulling him closer and burrying my face into his chest.

"I love you vic fuentes" i whispered.

"I love you too, y/n y/l/n" he replied, kissing the top of my head.
