After my little... disagreement with Sammie in the cafeteria I decided it was time to tell the girls what was going on. As I thought they told me I was wrong and they were right. Typical.
"We told you Lilith was bad news." Danni said shaking her head.
"Can we just skip to the point?" I really didn't want to go through the whole 'I told you so' routine. I've heard it all before. Besides I really needed advice.
"Which is?" Danni asked me.
"What do I do about Sammie?" I said using hand gestures. I always think they further explain my point.
"I think it's time you left her alone." Danni suggested to me.
"I can't." I told her shaking my head quickly dismissing the possibility.
"Why not?" Marty asked me."I don't know, but I just can't do that." I said frustrated with myself for making this so difficult.
"Well then since that's not an option, when are you breaking up with Lilith?" Danni questioned.
"What? I'm not doing that either." I explained quickly. Marty sighed.
"You can't have it both ways. As long as you date Lilith and try to be friends with Sammie, you'll always be caught in the middle." Marty explained.
"That's never a good place to be." Danni added on.
"Who do I choose?" I asked them putting my hands in my hair.
"That's up to you, Hun." Danni said grabbing my hands.
"Listen to your heart. It'll know who you want, even if you don't." Marty said. That is such feminine advice.
I was in my third period class, I was anxious to see Lilith. I needed to talk to her. When I saw her walk in I really noticed the differences between her and Sammie. Lilith was short, with curly blond hair, and light blue eyes. Sammie was tall, with straight black hair, and dark brown eyes. Lilith loved skirts and heels, while Sammie wore skinny jeans and vans. Lilith was a cheerleader, and Sammie was into photography. Sammie had facial piercings, while the only thing Lilith would pierce was her ear. I see where their personalities could clash, but I wish they could get past that stuff. I wish I didn't have to choose, but I think it may have to come down to that. I really liked both of them, but I couldn't be stuck in the middle like this. Lilith came over and took her place next to me.
"Hey babe, how was your day so far?" Lilith asked smiling while twirling a piece of blond hair around her finger like she always did.
"I've had better." I admitted.
"Aw, what's wrong?" she asked me with that sweet look on her face.
"Just a bit of a disagreement with Sammie." I told her. She instantly stopped twirling her hair and the smile faded from her face.
"I thought we were done with her?" she questioned. I didn't know what to say. I have never saw her act this way before.
"It's just that I saw your argument with her, and I just wanted to make sure she was okay." I explained to her.
"Why do you even care? You didn't even talk to me about it." she said.
"No offense, but I saw you push her." I informed her so she knew I saw what happened.
"Did you see her push me?" she asked.
"No." I answered not understanding how her story made sense.
"Of course you didn't, she pushed me first. I can't believe you would actually think of me like that." she told me her frown going even deeper.
"Look, I didn't know." I said.
