After it was about to close, Edd was just standing near the freaks section, leaning a bit against a piece of wood. He could get splinters but he could honestly care less about that right now. But he saw someone walk up to him, it was that kid who he thought would think he was a weirdo. He raised a brow and looked around, seeing if parents would run over and pick him up..no one did.

He slowly kneeled down and did a small wave. "Hey, kid, where's your parents?" He asked. The child was holding a small teddy bear and just staring at him, maybe he didn't know any words yet or is mute? Or he was shy? As he thought, he saw him point towards the entrance, where there was the adult who stood next to him earlier. "Uh..is that your..parent?" He asked.

He had his eye dart back, Edd got a small look at the adult, who seemed to be male, not a very safe looking person, like he was some predator. He did a 'cut your neck open' movement with his hand. Edd realised something, that wasn't his parent, it was a person who forced him to pretend. As Edd looked down, he saw the kid start tearing up, not changing his expression, but just tearing up.

He waved at the male, who seemed chill, Edd acted fast on this, even if he never had this situation before, he quickly grabbed the child and picked him up and started running into Tord's tent, the male yelled 'Get back here' and 'I'll kill you' as he chased after him, he could feel the child clinging onto him for dear life. He felt adrenaline chime in as he quickly booted inside as he slipped.

He made sure the child wasn't hurt and held him close, not wanting to give him to this monster. The male opened it. "Listen, if you give me back that child, I won't kill you~" he purred, almost aggressively. He scooted back, he was trapped, he could either betray the child or his life. But...he forgot...Tord is the lion trainer, he has a lion, a lion who can dip someone's flesh right open and kill them, eat them.

Before he could get close, there was a low growl from behind Edd, he flinched and felt the child have the grip on the teddy bear just loosen, he turned his head a bit to show the yellow eyes of a lion, it preyed down as it walked up behind Edd and showed itself, it's mane puffed up as his teeth showed as he was ready to eat. The male quickly went backwards, but Tord was just there, he backed into him as Tord chuckled darkly.

"Hello there, stupid~" he purred, smirking unsettling, walking towards the male with having his arms behind his back as the male kept backing away. "I over heard you trying to kidnap a poor, innocent little child and kill the ringmaster, aw, ain't that adorable?" He had one arm go out and show nothing, just his hand with a glove. "But honestly, I find it hilarious that you think you can get away with this, when..."

He pulled the other arm out, showing a butcher knife, he must've found it in the bachelor area where people eat meat from animals. "I could easily kill you and no one could find your body~" Ringo prowled as the lion snuck up behind him. "Because my little friend Ringo could easily get rid of all the evidence." He went in his face, a big grin overcoming his face as his eyes went buggy and he showed the butcher knife to his throat.

"Now, friend, stay the fuck away from this circus and children or you won't hear the end of it~ got it?" He asked, the dude nodded his head, frantically as Tord grabbed his shirt and swung him behind him, he shook as he immediately ran away. "Stupid human..." Tord sighed as he threw the butcher knife down and turned. Edd, who was in shock tord acted like that, and with the child still clinging on him, heard these words..

"You okay?"
