Closer inspection. He didn't want that at the freak show. Kids would be terrified, okay. Not all. But still, not a single person he's met has ever even said "oh you poor people" but more "OH MY GOD! FREAK!!" Seriously, it's annoying. And sad. He sighed and turned around, putting his hands up, signaling. 'Stop!' Everyone stopped and whispered. 'Why did he stop us? We want to see the freaks! Come on!!' He mentally cursed the crowd, he didn't want this. People being rude.

"Everyone, some might scare or make your children cry-" he mentally felt bad for being 'rude' to the freaks, he didn't want to seem like he agreed, but he can't do anything. He's tried, never worked. "-So you can leave them with Jon, the clown.." He sighed, feeling some parents shielding their kids over a innocent clown. Everyone thought any clown was evil, since people decided to do that, annoying, ain't it? To him, yes.

"Don't worry, he's a nice clown, you don't see kids going missing by being with him for the rest..." He pointed out, which was true. No kids went missing from being sent to the clown. Who didn't even look scary, that's what annoyed him the most. "You sure?!" A thick Irish accent shouted, concerned. He sighed. "Yes!" He replied back, chatters happened amoug the crowd.

"You have a minute to decide..." He sighed. Pat tapped him on the shoulder and whispered. "Sir, Mark is nervous again, He doesn't like being called a freak...he can't keep this up!" Edd shook. Fear stabbed him right through the heart, his heart was beating fast, he tried to calm it down, but he couldn't, so he faked being calm and serious. "Alright, take care of the crowd for a minute, I'll be back..." He whispered back as he flipped his cape backwards behind him and walked to the freak show's place. Pat took his place, putting his hands up and flicked them, grabbing the crowd's attention. "The ringmaster will be back soon!! Please wait patiently and decide to send your kids to the clown now!!" He announced, his loudest voice possible, now people heard his accent. It was slightly Scottish...interesting. No one really heard it until he spoke or shouted. Seemed...weird? Maybe? Well, he didn't talk normally, so it was to them. others thought it's normal.

They all started chatting as Edd opened the curtains, walking inside as he let it shut behind him, making the room a bit darker. He needed to open the curtain... And turn the lights on. 'Mental note taken,Edd, mental note taken.' He thought, as he shook his head and wiped his thoughts clean from his old soul type of mind. He saw the cage, it was bigger then normal ones, so it was like three people who could fit in it, it was also basically covered with glass now. Because people decided to sneak food and throw it at the 'freaks' which hurt them too much, so he had to get glass to block off the food. But there was still some holes so you could hear talking.

He walked up to it, looking closely, it was dark so he could barely see, but he saw Mark, half his face. "Mark...Mark!" He whisper yelled, trying hard to get his attention. He locked his eyes on the ringmaster, looking dull.. "Mark...Please...I'm sorry people are so rude about your...unique self...please...survive this, for me..?" He asked, it sounded like begging. But his voice was soft spoken.

He stayed still and silent, before sighing and nodding. Edd smiled softly. "It's okay...I'll be glad to get you some food and water for today, okay?" He softly said. Mark nodded again, doing a small smile. Edd got up and did a small wave as he walked back out, going to the crowd. "Okay, everyone, better have decided, the ringmaster is back!!" Pat announced again, Edd smiled at how pat took over to let go some of his stress. He didn't ask often, but wether he did or not, he still did.

"Okay, The children who stay, stay with your parents, the others, line up behind pat!!" Small children, maybe five to nine lined up to pat, quiet a lot. Seemed parents trusted him. That's good, ain't it? The rest stayed, one caught his eye. A blue haired girl, violet dark hoodie draped over her legs, long black pants which reached the ground but showed her feet, which she had blue with some white strips and shoelaces which were also white. Her wrists looked like she was forced to stay with her dad, she looked sad and uncomfortable, but he couldn't see her eyes, so he couldn't tell.

But as the rest left, pat led them to the clown, as Edd led the rest to the freak show...
