"I'm so glad you're back home with your family, babe! Your mom has told me that she missed you so much! I know she's excited. " You and Niall were currently talking on the phone. He was visiting his family for the Christmas break. You missed him so much and wanted to be with him, but you knew that he needed to see his family. "Yeah, I know. I'm so excited. I missed them a lot. I wish I could visit you though." You nodded but then realized that he couldn't see you. "Yeah I missed you too. But don't worry. We'll be able to see each other soon. So don't be sad, be happy and spend your time with your family, yeah?" You said to Niall. He sighed before replying. "You're right. " "I'm always right, Niall. When will you learn women are ALWAYS right?" He chuckled before continuing with what he was gonna say before. "Krysten, Krysten, Krysten," he said while making a tsk sound. "When will YOU learn that I'm always right? I am Irish, babe!" He said. "Babe, you being Irish has nothing to do with you being right, silly!" You said to him. "Yeah, yeah. You're just jealous." "Whatever, Niall." You said while giggling. "I'll talk to you on Christmas Day, okay?" "Okay. I love you, Krysten." You swooned to yourself secretly. Whenever he said 'I love you' your heart just melted. "I love you too, Niall. Bye." Well, time to go to your family's house.

****christmas day****

"Yeah, well I gotta go, babe! My mom wants me to help her with the apple pie! I'll call you later." you said to your boyfriend. Today was Christmas and you're boyfriend less. Yay. You shook off the sad feelings you had about him and began to help your mom.

It was now 9:15pm and you were opening your presents. Unlike a lot of families, you and your family opened the presents at night and during the day you guys spent time together playing games. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe you got me tickets to see 5 Seconds of Summer! I love you so much!" Your little cousin said. "You're welcome, kiddo! And I love you too." She was the last to open her presents so now everyone just ate pie and talked. "I'll be right back. I'm going to go call Niall." You said to your mom. You then began walking to the kitchen while drinking your hot chocolate. It may not be cold outside, with it being LA and all, but that doesn't mean you can't drink hot chocolate! "It's Niall! Sorry I can't pick up the phone. Super busy. Have a nice day." Beep. You were sorta confused because Niall usually answered the phone. He's probably with his family, you thought. You then went back to the living room. "Okay, baby." Said your mom, "We know Niall isn't here, so we thought it would be nice if we helped to get you a present." You opened the box and nothing was inside. "There's nothing there.." You said. "Oh?" Just then the doorbell rang. "How about you go get the door, while I find the real present!" You shrugged and went to open the door. "He-NIALL! Oh my gosh!" You said while hugging him. "I missed you so much!" You both released the hug and you invited him in. "What are you doing in LA? Aren't you suppose to be with your family?" You asked. "Yeah I was. They know that I wanted to see you, so we had an early Christmas so I could come and see you! Surprise?" You didn't know what to say so you just put your arms around his neck and kissed him. "God, I've missed you so much." "I love you." You said to him. "I love you more, Krysten." You smiled into the kiss. Those words will always be your favorite.
