Aaliyah was so nervous. She couldn't even look at Ashley because she knew that all she would do is say that she going to be amazing, call her a whore and that she'd totally get the part of Jane.
Since Aaliyah was so nervous she decided to talk to everyone else. Being that Forbidden Love was a musical, Aaliyah knew that she was going to freeze up there. Of course she said this every year she auditioned, but she would still get nervous. It was something that never went away for her.
Aaliyah walked over to Cat. Cat said that she thought she would freeze too. Axel said that he was going to be amazing, mainly because he was a fucking show off. Ashley said that she was a little nervous, but she thinks that she'll do okay. Kendall said that she wasn't really that nervous. Danny didn't really care. He just wanted to know if he was any good. Ethan was only a little nervous. Aaliyah couldn't find Jordan to ask about his nervousness, though.
Aaliyah walked around until she heard a beautiful, soothing, and sincere voice singing. She walked towards the janitors closet and found Jordan singing. He turned around and smiled at her sheepishly.
"Jordan, what are you doing?" Aaliyah asked with a smug expression.
"Oh, you know." He trailed off awkwardly.
"No, I don't know." Aaliyah said cluelessly.
"I was just practicing." He said while looking at the ground hoping for her to stop questioning him.
"Well, you were really good." Aaliyah complimented, the grin forming on his lips.
"Thanks, but I'm really nervous. I don't think I should really do this." He vented.
"Don't worry. You'll do great. I guarantee it. I'm your biggest fan, I would know," Aaliyah soothed him while beads of sweat were falling from his temple.
"I'm nervous too, you know. A lot of people are. You're not the only one." Aaliyah continued hoping to calm him down. It looked as though he was dying of anticipation.
They both walked out of the closet after his little panic attack. He grabbed Aaliyah's hand and intertwined their fingers. Aaliyah felt good and complete, almost like it was meant to be and made just for her. She wasn't sure why she was saying that and she knew that Jordan didn't like her like that, but a girl could dream.
Aaliyah heard someone calling her name over and over. She looked to her right and saw her one and only. She let go of Jordan's hand, even though she didn't want to. She went up and hugged him.
"Boobear, what are you doing here?" Aaliyah asked.
"I told you only mom can call me that. Anyway, Ms. D talked to my Dean and I got off so I could help direct the play. I know you missed me, didn't you?" He whined, then explained why he was here and added in a little teasing. Classic Ryan. He looked at Jordan with a confused expression on his face.
He reached out his hand and questioned, "And you are?"
Jordan returned the gesture and said, "Jordan. Green." He seemed a bit hesitant.
"Oh, you must be the boyfriend." He assumed. Aaliyah smacked his arm playfully and said, "No. He's my friend, Ryan."
"Yes, because of course best friends hold hands and have huge smiles plastered on their faces. That is totally normal." He replied sarcastically.
Just as Aaliyah was about to call him out, Ms. Davis called for everyone to sit down. Aaliyah sat in between Jordan and Ashley. Ms. Davis snapped her fingers so she could get the class' attention. As the room settled down, she began to speak.
