Unknown POV

"She's moving! She's moving!"

"I know, I can see that! GO! Call him. It's time."

"What do you think he's going to do with a 6-year-old? She's been in a coma for three years, and have been presumed dead." The blonde hair blue eyed woman spoke, better known as Alexa.

"Do you think they'll give her back to her family?" Marcus, the blonde haired blue-eyed man asked.

"Only when mercy run through his blood."

I sigh grabbing all the paper work I had to fill for this girl. We don't know much about her family. Only that she was met with an accident that was clearly done on purpose. When she was bought to the hospital originally, she looked well, pardon me for lacking a better word, dead. After using the defibrillator, we were able to make her heart pump again, but she still wasn't out of danger. After a four-hour surgery she was still in critical condition. The only way to save her was to put her into a coma, but the only problem that would cause was that we wouldn't know when she would wake up or if she would have all her memories.

The door opened with a bang startling me, and bringing me out of my thoughts. Alexa rushed through with a phone to her ear. Oh god, that sick bastard wants to speak to me. Giving me a glare when she saw me roll my eyes Alexa handed over the phone.

"Hello." I spoke.

"Is she awake?" The bastard's voice rang through the phone.

"She's been showing signs of waking up since last year, but nothing followed, but she's been moving much more in the recent days, and have been muttering incoherent words."

"But will she wake up soon?! That's what I want to know idiot! Answer the damn question!" He shouted. Man, I would do anything to see this man behind bars. I know he's going to hurt this little girl, and I won't let him. She should wake up either today or tomorrow.

"I don't think so, she might take a little longer. Her heart rate is lower than normal."

"Whatever, she won't remember her family, right?" He sneered.

"Sir, we won't be able to determine that until she wakes up." I could literally feel the glares I'm receiving from Alexa and Marcus.

"UGH! You idiots can't do anything right! Call me when and only when she wakes up! Don't disturb me!" With that he hung up. A small sigh escapes me, I can't let that man hurt this little girl. I'm a doctor, and I took an oath to help people, and I'm not breaking it.

"What the hell James! Why did you lie to him? If he finds out, he'll kill our families. Call him again, and tell him that she's going to wake up soon. We both know that she's going to wake up either today or tomorrow. I can't risk my family for your pity." Alexa hissed.

"We took an oath to help people in need, and you're going to break it for your own selfish reasons!"

"Aright, what can we do to help the little girl?" Marcus spoke out.
