Astrid's POV

A month has already passed. My birthday was really eventful compared to the others I've had. No, I still haven't told them that my birthday have passed, and I'm not planning to.

School hasn't changed. Rosa and her friends are still picking on me. I don't know what I have done to make her and her gang hate me. It actually gotten worse ever since Hayden started paying more attention to me. I think I've managed to get few more bruises and scratches on my arms and stomach. Once after playing games with Rosa and her gang, in other words I become their punching bag, I arrived to the Haddock household late. Hayden and his parent's were all over me. Luckily, I kept my head down the whole time so they didn't see any bruises.

I'm still living with the Haddocks, my parents call me every now and then, but it's only to remind me to keep my secrets well a secret. They didn't call for Snoggletog. The Haddocks had a really big party Snoggletog eve, when I say every one came I mean it. Even the school teachers were here. It was one of the best Snoggletogs I've ever experienced.

Hayden is still cold towards everyone apart from the girl he is playing with each day. His friends are pretty much used to Hayden's behaviour in school, but I'm not. Why does he have to be that way. He never brings them home, instead at the end the day he turn cold on her as well. I don't understand him. He gets cold towards me to sometimes, but I put him in his place then he's good with me. Seriously what's up with that?!

Right now I'm in school, inside the last class of the day before I can head home and study for exams. Hopefully I can escape the her royal highness.

"Pst" the idiot next to me nudged me, but me being me I ignored him.

As you can imagine this went for nearly half and hour, but I decided to give him some mercy, that an he was really starting to annoy me.

"What?!" I whisper yelled trying to get back to work before the teacher caught us.

"The guys and I are going to the beach house today after school and coming back on the Sunday morning, I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

should I? I mean I don't that many things to do, and few day at the beach sound really fun. What could go wrong? But the last time I said that things went very wrong in just mere few seconds.

"I know you're probably thinking about the bar Asty, but I promise nothing like will ever happen again. Not if I have to say anything about it.

Ast?! where did that come from?

I looked into his beautiful forest green eyes that was secretly pleading me to say yes. Me being me though I decided to play with him.

"Ast?! Where did that one come from?"

"What's your answer?"

"Will I have to call you 'Hady' now?"

The look on his face was priceless. "Astrid please" he said calmly.

I supressed the giggles that were just about to burst.

"Will you come or not Astrid?"

"I don't know Hayden, I mean I've got so much revision to do, and I've got to do my daily run, and let's not forget I help your dad with his work in the weekends."

"Firstly, you could use a few days without revising. Secondly, you could run in the beach heck I'll make you run. Thirdly, I could ask dad to let you miss this weekend on work." He replies counting his fingers of.

"Weeeellllllll, I just don't know Hayden" I whispered quietly, and kept looking at my work so it seemed like I was doing my work. I practically feel Hayden's irritation radiate of him.

"ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS YES WOMAN!" Hayden shouted causing everyone to look in our direction.

"Beg your pardon Mr Haddock?" Mr Holdgerson asked.

"Is there anything interesting you would like to share Mr. Haddock?" He asked again not getting an response from Hayden, who just sat there in his chair pouting at me.

He's so adorable I just want to pinch those cheeks of his.

"Well Mr. Haddock?" Mr Holdgerson insisted.

"Nothing!" Hayden grumbled loudly turning back to his work.

I waited patiently until this scene died down before nudging him.

"Pst!" I nudged

"What?!" he sneered, it was getting hard holding the giggles back.

"Yea I'll come with you. I was just messing you know."

"Yes I realised that!" He whisper yelled only to look back down at his piece of paper when Mr. Holdgerson looked back up at him.

Who knew Hayden Haddock had such little patience. This weekend was going to be fun.
