If anyone knows anything about this play, please tell me. I've listened to three songs from Carmen but don't fully understand it.

Carmen looked at him, "I was just thinking out loud. That's not a crime; thinking and talking to myself."
He stood and looked at her,
"Carmen," he fell in front of her and put his hand on her knee as he looked up at her, "say you love! Say you'll always love me."
"Always." She smirked as he stood and kissed her neck. She wrapped her legs around him and moaned into a kiss.
"Now, free me and I'll be yours." She lied, she enjoyed toying with such men. This soldier was no different, just a play thing that she would become tired of. He nodded; lovesick.
