(Y/N)'S POV

I woke up with a jolt. Nightmares of my father kept coming back, now even worst. My head throbbed in pain as picked myself up from the comfy bed. Shrugging the unwanted feeling I moved out of the bed and walked out of the room.

As if on cue, my stomach grumbled as I close the door behind me. I wonder if there are supplies I could use to cook ourselves breakfast from the pantry. I'm starving.

I made my way to the kitchen and looked for food that are easy and fast to cook. Good thing that this cabin had lots of food stocks. I immediately prepared food for the both of us. After I finished, I proceeded to call out to the other.

"Taehyung! Breakfast is ready!" I shouted. I waited, but there was no response. Weird...

Leaving the food unattended on the table, I made my way to his room. I knocked a few times and turned the knob. Surprisingly it was unlocked. I peeked my head inside and found no sign of Taehyung being inside the room. I let myself in and checked the bathroom, still no sign of him. The bed was also cleanly made.

Deciding not to panic, I walked out of his room and proceeded to the front door with a gun with me. He probably is at the shooting spot where we trained yesterday. I picked up the pace and moved into the woods. I heard a few gun shots, making me freeze. Shit! Did they found us?!

Worry and adrenaline filled my body. I held on the gun tight and run to where the gunshots are. My breathing got unsteady, but I needed to see that Taehyung is okay. I raised my gun and pointed it in front of me, ready to pull the trigger if the intruders got in the way. Several gunshots sounded off, making my heart stop. I sprinted off and saw the light, the way out of the woods. As soon as the rays of the sun hit my skin, I frantically looked for Taehyung, hoping he's okay.

I let out a sigh of relief, seeing that he's fine. No sign of intruders around too. I felt my knees buckled and my body felt like jelly after getting all tensed for a bloody encounter.

After steadying myself a bit, I slowly approached Taehyung, but stopped when I got a clear glimpse of his tear stained cheeks. Confused, I moved silently, not wanting to disturb him. Now, I could see that his hands were shaking and he let out a few sobs. He put down his gun and picked up a sniper. Focused on the targets, he took a breath. In seconds, he shot down all the targets straight at the center, making my jaw drop. He pointed his gun at the human-like target, mercilessly shooting its head, proceeding to the heart next. He started screaming hysterically.

It was heart breaking to watch so I approached him from behind and hugged him tight. He tensed up and stopped firing. He placed down the sniper where the other guns are. Though I can't see his face I'm sure that he's still crying to himself. His body shook with every broken sob he lets out. My heart ached for him, wishing I could help, but decided to let him cry it all out.

"It's okay Taehyung. I'm here." I spoke softly. He whimpered and turned around to hug me back. I whispered sweet nothings to his ears to stop him from crying. My shirt felt drenched with tears, but I couldn't careless. The poor boy in front of me worries me more. He kept whimpering and tightening the hug, like a stray dog battered badly.

After a while he stopped crying, soft sniffles are the only thing heard from him. I carressed his hair, patting it a few times until he pulled away from the hug. I wiped away the few tears that glistened his cheeks. His eyes were swollen and his nose were red from crying hard.
