Percy was having the time of her life. Hiding out with Bruce was fun!

He, of course, didn't think so, but Percy knew that he was fine. For some reason, he didn't entirely trust a child of a spy, even though she managed to gain the trust of the other guy.

They were currently at a small town just outside the city, hiding in an abandonded house, waiting for a battalion from Ross to pass by.

Percy looked at Bruce, laughter in her eyes, "These guys are stupid, right?"

Bruce looked at her confused, and glanced outside in alarm before rapidly whispering, "what do you mean? Why would they be stupid?"

"Well, they think that you and the Hulk are evil."

"I am the hulk, and he can be. You do realize I can kill someone?"

"I can too. So could they. So could a determined pigeon."

Percy smiled as her joke earned her a laugh, calming down her travel buddy. He looked out the window to see the men had almost passed.

"So... am I really that little?"

"What?" He turned towards her uncertainly, tearing his gaze away from the backs of the men.

"Hulk called me 'little spider'. I'm not-!" She paused for a minute, listening to a small whir that was nearby. Almost immediatley, she lit up with a big smile, confusing the man next to her. She swirled around, before running to the back of the house.

"Percy, what's..." He turned around to see an assassin. Not just any assassin, or even Percy's mom. No, it was the Winter Soldier.

And Percy was hugging him.

"Uncle Bucky!"

"'Uncle'? I'm sorry, but why the heck do you know the Winter Soldier!?"

"Relax. My objective is to make sure Percy gets to safety and you get away."

"Oh, so I should just trust the child I'm in charge of keeping safe to the second most feared assassin in the world?!"

"I swear I haven't killed anyone in four years." Bucky crossed his heart in a very child-like manner, but keeping one arm near Percy.

"Yeah, last time he killed, my mom kicked his butt for killing my other mom!" Percy jumped in, attempting to help her mom's friend.

Bruce stared uncomfortably, but Percy continued, despite the obvious signs from both men for her to stop.

"And then she took him back to SHIELD and they fixed his brain so he can think again without help! And then mom officially adopted me and Uncle Bucky helped her and Uncle Clint with me and the oth-"

'Bucky' slapped a hand over her mouth, stopping whatever she was going to say.

"Well then, there's a motorcycle outside for the good doctor, but Percy, me and you better get going."

"Are we going to Uncle Clint's-"

"YES! Yes, we're going... there."

"Nice to meet you doctor, can't wait to see you again!"

Back on the battle ground, things were getting worse, if possible.

Thor had joined the fray, but the things kept coming.

Cap took charge, directing the group. "We got Stark up top. He's going to need us to..."

A motorcycle, and old one at that pulled up with a certain doctor on the back.

"Thanks Natasha." He called out, "Your friend is really helpful."

"My friend?" She glanced at Clint, who suddenly found his shoes extremely interesting, while wondering if the doc was being sarcastic or not.

"The one with the, or rather, without the left arm. He told me to use the motorcycle out back and then dissapeared with your daughter."

Before anyone could add anything, Clint was pinned to a nearby car.

"So, Nat... Funny story actually. Well, you see, um. Well, Fury thought, that, heh, well... um."

"Clint Francis Barton if you do not finish your sentence in the next fifteen seconds you will find the Chitari aren't the worst thing you should worry about."

Tony's voice interrupter them through the coms, "I hate to interrupt the touching moment Francis, but Bruce needs to suit up, because I'm bringing the party to you."

"Stark, I fail to see how that's a party."

A large worm-like creature burst down the street, sweeping up cars and destroying any builing along the side.

"Dr. Banner," Steve called, "now might be a really good time for you to get angry."

He turned around, but did not falter in his step, "That's my secret cap. I'm always angry."

"He's not slowing down."

Tony was falling from the sky, being the last thing to leave the portal. Once at building hight, the Hulk managed to catch him.

Setting him down, Thor pried off his helmet, and Steve checked for any sign of breathing.

It was silent for an minute, before the Hulk roared at him.

"What the Hell? What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me."

Steve panted, gaining his breath, "We won."

Loki clawed his way to the top of the crater he was dug his way out of the hole he was in, before pausing and looking towards the open window.

The avengers stood, battered, bruised, and probably many other 'b's, weapons drawn, all pointing at him. Hawkeye up front, bow drawn, while Steve and Thor flanked him, and the Hulk and Natasha behind them. Tony broke the pattern, behind Clint but in front of Steve, helmet off, but reactor glowing.

"If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now."

Out in the middle of no where, to spies entered a quaint little farmhouse.

"Honey, I'm home!"

"Natasha dearest, how was work at the office?"

"Oh Laura, my darling, it was an awfully boring day, deadfully plain."

Clint shoved between the two women, play jealousy in his face and voice. "My dearest Natasha, I though your love belonged to me!"

The three laughed, getting the attention of the kids.

"Mom!" "Dad!"
"Aunt Natasha!" "Uncle Clint!"

"We're fine Laura, Tony just wants to make sure that we didn't 'dispose' of Percy now that we're 'through with her'."

Laura laughed, "I'm guessing her Grandpa Fury wants to see her too."

Percy came hopping down the stairs, a bag in her hand. "We're going to see the doctor?!" She asked excitedly.

Clint and Natasha laughed, and shoed her out the door, saying good bye to the Barton toddlers and Laura on the way out.

Merry Christmas I guess
