"Sir, with all due respect, I almost lost control today."

Fury sighed and looked at his best agent, "What would you like me to do about it?"

Natasha Romanoff, the famed Black Widow, looked her psudo father figure in his eye, fully prepared with an answer.

"I have an idea."

An agent ran up to the woman in charge of the construction, a relaxed and accomplished smile on their face.

"M'am, the construction is complete, the cage is ready for it's intended use."

The assassin smiled a small smile, which was more of a smirk. "Perfect."

"Dr. Parker, Dr. Simmons, and Dr. Conners, Fury has requested your presences." Widow called into the room.

The three doctors sprung from their seats, eager to leave. Fury didn't call people very often.

They walked silently for a while, glancing around at the agents who were watching them pass. Anyone who went anywhere with the Black Widow was usually quiet about what happens afterwords. Any agent knows that causes rumors.

They arrived in a room with a hallway that led to what appeared to be a smaller room. Natasha waited right outside, waiting for the scientists to enter. As soon as they did though, the door closed behind them.

It was a good few days before anyone found out.

Fury called in Stark, despite his dislike for the man, called him in for tech help with the cage drop.

He was back at his desk filing paper work before anyone could bother him, already done with the day at 2:00.

Back in the room, Tony saw his two favorite agents pass, still messed up from a mission.

"Yo Legolas! Natalie! What're you guys doing here?" He called, while adjusting a dial in the tube.

The two turned to face him, not at all bothered by his strange position in the floor.

"We work here." Clint stated bluntly.

Tony pouted, in a very 'I'm better than you even while I'm sad' type of way, "you're just evil."

Natasha gasped so dramatically she could have won an Oscar if she had only placed a Rose between her lips. "How could you say that! Clint is the nicest and most precious people I know," she called, placing her hand on her chest, as if the very thought had physically hurt her heart.

Clint whiped what Tony was pretty sure was blood off his face, smearing another reddish brown substance in its place. "Yeah! I'm adorable!"

"Have fun with that Merida."

Fury had finally gotten some quiet. Maybe Natasha and Clint hadn't run into Tony. Maybe he could have a day without someone blowing something up.

As he put his last file into it's folder, he got a call.

He slammed his head on his desk. New rules, he thought, I'm updating them today.

Sorry it's so short. This was kinda a quick little story on the cage while I figure out what to do next. And I'm not even sending this to my editor (DCDemigodTimelord23) because I need this posted today (January 5th) because I am now a year older, and a year closer to my death. (In other words, it's my birthday!)
