"Titan was like most planets. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution," Thanos had arrived on Titan, and wasted no time in explaining his life story to Dr. Strange, who was sitting alone on the stairs to an ancient ruins.

"Genocide," Strange stated bluntly.

Thanos, despite not being able to, tried defended himself, "At random. Dispassionate, fair to rich and poor alike. They called me a mad man. And what I predicted came to pass," he said.

"Congratulations, you're a prophet," Strange sassed.

"I'm a survivor," Thanos claimed.

"Who wants to murder trillions!" Strange yelled, without any simpathy.

Thanos continued spilling his plan, even though he would try to kill Strange later anyways. "With all the six stones, I could simply snap my fingers, and they would all cease to exist. I call that... mercy."

"And then what?" Dr. Strange asked, waiting for a perfect moment to introduce the team.

"I finally rest, and watch the sunrise on an grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills," Thanos finished, totally not stealing the sunrise thing from Thor and Loki.

(I'm sorry, but he totally did)

"I think you'll find our will equal to yours," said Strange, using the perfect introduction line that he had been planning for an hour now.

"Our?"

The fight went exactly as planned, up until they were pulling the gauntlet off.

The only people not helping were Quill, who had opted out in order to question Thanos, and Percy, who wouldn't explain herself. Tony was kind of happy Percy was sitting out, Nat wouldn't maim him as badly if she wasn't hurt.

The gauntlet was almost off when Quill asked a question.

"Where's Gamora?"

Thanos strained against Mantis, who was using her psychic powers to subdue him. "...my... Gamora..." he said.

"Oh, bull-shit. Where is she?" Quill fired back.

"He is in anguish!"Mantis cried, trying to focus.

"Good!" Quill snapped.

Mantis started crying, "He... He... He mourns!"

Percy watched from a distance, wanting to help, but knowing she can't.

"What does this monster have to mourn?!" Drax snapped, much like Quill.

Nebula approached from the ship she stole. (I can't remember when she arrives on Titan, but I know she has a line here, so I just added her in now) "Gamora..." she said.

"...what?" Quill asked, fearing the answer.

"He took her to Vormir. He came back with the Soul Stone. She didn't," Nebula summed up.

Tony was able to get a grasp on the situation, and hoped Quill would be able to hold himself, "Okay, Quill, you gotta cool it right now, you understand?" The man ignored him and slowly turned towards Thanos. "Don't, don't, don't engage, WE'VE ALMOST GOT THIS OFF!" Stark yelled.

Quill was almost consumed by rage, "Tell me she's lying. ASSHOLE! TELL ME YOU DIDN'T DO IT!" he yelled.

"...I...had...to..." Thanos whispered.

Quill started tearing up, not noticing a small movement near him. "No, you didn't... No, you didn't..." He raised his hand to hit the purple giant, but suddenly stopped.

"Quill?" Tony asked, slowing his progress on the removal.

"Don't stop!" Percy yelled from behind, "Get it off quickly!"

Quill stayed perfectly still, except for his face, which showed terror and confusion. "Why can't I move? What's the big idea?"

Percy started panting, but smiled when she saw the gauntlet was almost off. "Peter, once I drop control on other Peter, web the gauntlet over towards me. I'll take care of it after that," she said. She slowly walked close to Quill, and by doing that, closer to the rest of them. Nebula had gone over to help Tony and Peter with removal, making it go a lot faster.

"How are you so strong?" Peter asked her.

"I'm a cyborg."

"Cool!" He exclaimed.

"I swear to the gods Parker, if I turn to see you fanboying instead of helping, I will kill you before anyone else can," Percy called, straining to hold Quill, "And Quill, can you please relax so we all can get out of here alive?!"

There was a cry of triumph as soon as the gauntlet was off, and everybody celebrated, except for Mantis, who was struggling to keep Thanos subdued. "I can't hold him!"

Thanos snapped out of his daze and reached for the gauntlet quicker than anyone realized.

"NO!"

He suddenly stopped, much like Quill, who now flew at him swinging.

Quill got one hit in, before Peter shot the gauntlet to Percy, and Thanos dubbled over and fell to the ground at the same time as Percy.

Everybody slowly let go, no one holding him anymore as he lay on the ground, and Peter and Tony rushed over to the crying Percy, who had brought herself into the sitting position.

"I killed him..," she whispered, "I killed a person..."

"I'm sure he's just passed out," Tony comforted, while Peter agreed. The gaurdians crowded around while Strange watched from a distance as he watched the body.

Percy shook her head, "His organs exploded. There's no way he could survive. I want to go home," she told the assorted heroes, "I want my mom."

"If I may-" called Strange, glancing over at the assembled crowd, "-I can make a portal to Wakanda, where the main fight is happening," they all nodded, "but we'd need some kind of testimony to get the aliens to change sides, they wouldn't just stop fighting. They need someone to confess to killing him and for that person to take over the empire Thanos built."

Percy looked at him terrified, knowing she would be the first option, being the one to actually kill him.

"I'll do it," said Nebula, surprising the others, "they'd believe I was able to get close enough to kill him, and I have expirience with his allies, I know how to control them. Gamora was supposed to inherit it, but..." The mood dropped dramatically. They all nodded, and Percy ran up and hugged her.

"I can help," she declared, turning towards the gauntlet by her.

"Don't!" Quill yelled, "Only someone extremely powerful can weild one stone without getting hurt-"

He was cut off by Strange summoning the time stone, trusting the girl.

Percy attached the last stone, and held it to her chest.

She looked sheepishly at the asssembled heroes, who were surprised at her not getting hurt.. "I may have figured out what my 'mystery DNA' was last time Thor visited," she said, "I'm a demigod with a godly father and a godly grandfather."

(I know it's a little late to say it, but I figured that I was giving her too much prediction powers, so I just added she was a granddaughter of Apollo.)

"Hate to interrupt," Strange called, "But we need to get going if we are to stop deaths."

They all nodded, and a portal opened beneath them that launched them into the battle field.
