Unlocking the door to her moms house, geles quickly made her way upstairs. After spitting out her toothpaste and throwing some listerine in her mouth Geles made her way to the shower. She took a quick shower before getting out and finding something to wear. It was seven when both her and dave woke up so she already knew she was going to be late, good thing her mom was gone and Terrence wasn't home. Or at least she thought Terrence wasn't home, but she was proven wrong when he walked into her room.
"Where have you been all night?" Terrence asked walking up to her, Geles held tight to her towel that was wrapped around her body. "I was at Darlene's."
"At Darlene's or with some nigga?" Terrence checks for hickeys. "Why do I feel like your avoiding me?"
"I'm not." Terrence smirked, "Good because I have a client coming over this afternoon so be home. I don't care about no practice or none of that shit you bring your ass home and be ready to work. You don't wanna play with me because you know what kind of power I have, over you and your mom. I'll kill her if you disobey me, you got that?"
David sighed as he waited for Geles when his phone started ringing. It was his Baby moms, mother Ms. Georgia. "Hello?"
"Hey East, I need you to take Kairi to daycare today. My car is broke and the engine need fixing."Dave exhaled before saying, "Alright give me about ten minutes, ima need her carseat."
Dave and his baby mother Millie could never really get along. They were in a relationship for a little while before she cheated on him. They broke up and Millie ended up getting pregnant, and after the test results came back that dave was in fact the father Kairi Chanel Brewster, dave stepped up to the plate to take care of his daughter. One thing Millie could never say, "Dave doesn't take care of Kairi." Because everything she had was because of him. Dave paid three times more child support then he should've, made sure the lights were on in her mothers house since she was the only who had Kairi anyways, and made sure she had everything she needed for his daughter and herself. David only had Kairi on the weekends because he had to work but he was still just a phone call away.
"okay." Ms. Georgia hung up just as Geles came outside, "I'm sorry, I took so long."
"Nah you good, before I drop you off I need to make a quick stop. I have to pick up my daughter." Geles stayed quiet, it wasn't surprising to her that Dave already had a kid because it was like all the niggas in the neighborhood had a baby or one on the way.
"I didn't know Darlene had a niece."
"Ion really want people in my business like that." Geles started playing with the bracelets on her arm.
