"Where's my cousin bruh!?" Dave yelled at the Hansen and the doctor. He had woken up not remembering everything that has happened. His memory was erased as far as four years.

"Where's Malik!? What the fuck happened to my cousin bruh?"

"He was killed man." Michael finally said and Dave just sat there quietly . "Almost five years ago, Malik was gunned down in the park."

"What the fuck man! Them niggas still breathing?"

"No, you know we already took care of that." Dave took a deep breath and sat up on the bed. A lot of thoughts was running through his head on what happened and why was he in the hospital but he didn't have an answer.

"Tell the doc and the girls he's finally calmed down." Dave looked down at his legs that he couldn't move and he almost wanted to cry.

"Why I can't move my legs bruh?"

Hansen said, "The doctors had to take a lot of glass out of your legs from the accident. They predicted you probably won't be able to work on your legs for a couple months until the bones that were fractured heal."

Dave sighed and laid his head back processing that he won't be able to walk for a couple months. Which meant he wouldn't be able to work neither. When the door opened, he didn't bother to open his eyes but he did when he heard his sisters voice.

"I'm sorry D. I should've been there for you when Malik died.."

"You were Dave you just don't remember. His funeral was beautiful." They hugged and Darlene wiped the tear from his eye.

Geles stood by the door scared to be seen by Dave. If he didn't remember Malik's death then she knew for a fact there was no way he would remember her.

"Your wife is here." Dave's head snapped towards Hansen confused. "My wife?!"

Everybody head towards Geles and so did Dave. He looked her up and down for a few seconds before laughing.

"Y'all got to be kidding me!"

"I was in the accident with you, we were on our way home from your therapy session."

"What the fuck I need therapy for?! Y'all get this little girl outta here. Tryna tell me the biggest hoe in the east coast got married?" Dave started laughing hysterically which made Geles tear up.

"Dave, you're married man."

"Ain't no way in hell I got married.." Dave took another good look at Geles, "Especially not to this young ass girl. She must've been pregnant." Geles couldn't listen to him anymore, she ran out the room with Darlene and Hansen following behind her.

"Geles wait!" Hansen yelled as he pulled up his pants. "You know he didn't mean that.." Geles stopped walking and turned around. You could see the tears pouring down her face.

"Oh did he! That's Dave in there, that's how he really feels the medication isn't making him say that."

"Y'all were in an accident, you can't be mad that he doesn't remember that's not his fault."

"But that's NOT fair! He doesn't remember me or anything he's put me through the last five years which means he remember doesn't our children and what am I supposed to tell Kairi? How will I explain that to my kids?!" Geles just broke down. She couldn't believe that she had to start all over with Dave. Hansen sighed as he watched her cry and bent down to her level.

"It'll be okay I promise."

"No it won't. Everything will change now, you and I both know that." Geles just cried, because that's all she could do. Nobody said anything, Darlene and Hansen both knew she was right.
