With the end of the year fast approaching, Geles and Darlene had their heads in the books. Darlene and Ms. Trease was the only ones that knew about Geles pregnancy. Since she was only a couple of weeks along it wasn't noticeable, but David was extra cautious on who he let around her.

"I was thinking about moving out." Darlene said picking up her pink lemonade from A&D buffalo wings. Since David was gone on the rode again, the girls decided to go out for a little shopping. Geles didn't want to be home anyways espeically since Terrence was there. Yeah, she knew David had beat him up so he would stop messing with her but she still felt uncomfortable around Terrence. And since, there was a baby growing inside of her now she had to be extra cautious to protect her baby.

"Yeah me too." It had been on Geles a lot, the idea of moving out. That way she wouldn't have to worry about Terrence at all. "They have some cheap apartments downtown we can look at. Especially ones closer to the university." Darlene was looking into universities like NYU and Colombia while Geles on the other hand was looking at out of state colleges. Her plans were to get into the Army but although David wanted to support her dreams she knew for a fact that he wasn't going to accept that she still wanted to go into the Army after the baby was born. So her second option was to go to a college not in New York. David was hardly ever home anyways so there was no other reason for her to be in NY at all. Well, there wasn't a reason until she got pregnant. It was a lot to think about but Harlem wasn't really the safest place to raise a baby, especially not when the baby father is a drug kingpin.

"We can go half and half on a three bedroom, or a two bedroom for now. And we can have my mom sign off on it, I know she would do it."

"Yeah.." Darlene placed her hand on Geles belly, "East might not like you taking the baby away though, y'all haven't talked about you moving in with him?"

"Nope, he's been really busy with his work I try not to bother him as much."

"Girl, you his baby mama its your job to ignore his mean ass."

"Don't say baby mama, say "mother of his unborn child" that "baby mama" term seems trifling." Darlene started laughing but stopped and quickly removed her hand when Millie and Tanasha, Millie's best friend approached them. "Don't bring your ass over here with that bullshit Millie."

"I'm just coming over to say hey."

"See no, this is a baby mama." Geles giggled and Millie head snapped towards her, "Y'all talking shit? You over there giggling, why because your nigga still wants me?"

"Bitch, you can go with all that shit. East don't want your ass."

"And he obviously don't want her ass either, get lap dances from random girls in the class." Millie pulled out her phone and tried to show Geles a video but she snatched it out her hand and threw it in her face. Millie tried to swing on geles but darlene wasn't having it. Darlene punched her in her face and millie fell into a clothes rack. Tanasha tried punching Darlene but she got socked in the nose. Grabbing their purses and phones Geles and Darlene took off out the door laughing. "These bitches really dumb!"

Laying back in her bed, geles laughed at the television as she rubbed her belly. Wasn't anything there but other than the fact of her being pregnant was scary she also was a little excited. the flashing of her phone caught her attention and a picture of David popped up. "Hello?"

"Come outside." And with that he hung up. Standing to her feet, Geles grabbed her pink  bag and phone charger. "Where are you going?" Geles clenched just hearing the sounds of Terrence voice. Turning to him she watched him put the beer bottle to his mouth. "To Darlene's."
