Chapter 2 – DAY 01
I opened my cellphone and scanned through my messages. I sorted the date and went on Monday.
“Here I got a message from Robert. He’s asking me if he can borrow my homework for him to copy.”
Robert, my best friend, is always in trouble of forgetting about homeworks, or rather too lazy to do them.
I opened my lab manual in Physics. “Here it is, the friction homework. This is the one he copied,” I showed it to her.
“An A+? You must be smart,” she said.
“No I’m not,” I am trying to be humble.
“Then what happened next?” she asked.
I began scanning my cellphone.
“Well, nothing really important happened that day. We just made it through the day by listening to my boring World History teacher, eating at the cafeteria with Robert and going home earlier than usual.”
“How about dinner?” she asked.
What about dinner?
“Hmmm, I already forgot what we ate for dinner actually. Or what time we ate and all the other details.”
“What time did you slept?” she asked.
This woman is very inconsiderate.
“That was long ago. I don’t even have any more details here.”
“How about your friend, Robert? You didn’t have any contact with him after school?”
I just shook my head.
There was a silence inside the room for a while.
“Okay, that’s good. Let’s move to Tuesday,” she broke the awkward silence.
