When Alexandra entered the bus she immediately found Joshua's face among the many students on the bus. "Hey Alex! What did the girls do in P.E. today?" Joshua questioned Alexandra as soon as she sat down next to him.

"Just the usual horrid stuff. Like doing push-ups and jumping rope." Alex said as she wrinkled her nose at the thought.

"Oh, okay. Why are you wearing a beanie?"

"Umm..... my hair looked bad after gym.." Alexandra answered as she tried to hide the fact that she wasn't telling him something that might be important.

*Time Skip To When Alexandra Gets Off The Bus*

After what felt like a long bus ride to Alexandra, she finally got home. "I'm finally home, now I can try to figure out what the heck happened to me today." Alexandra thought as she quickly scurried up the road to her house.

Her house was very light blue with white trimming and had a black door with gold handles attached to it. There were not many flowers or decorations on the outside of the house except for a trail leading to the front door made out of cement. Yet today something very strange was waiting on her doorstep. A quite peculiar tabby cat with strange square spectacle markings surrounding its sharp eyes sat perched among the cement leading to Alexandra's abode.

                                                                                                     *Alexandra's Home *

"Hmmm... that is a peculiar looking cat, I wonder why it's here." Thought Alexandra as she climbed up the stairs to her home. As Alexandra pulled out her house key, the tabby cat continued to stare her down with an unreadable expression. After she successfully heard the click of the door unlock, Alexandra slowly walked into her home. Little did she know the tabby cat with strange markings around its eyes made its way into her house unsuspectingly.

"Mom I'm home." Alexandra announced as she quickly made her way up the stairs to her room. When she got to her small light gray and white room she put her backpack on the floor, not even noticing a person in the room. When Alexandra turned around to grab her computer off of her bed, she found a stern looking woman sitting on her bed wearing what looked like green velvet robes.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my room?!" Alexandra questioned the stern looking woman with glasses perched on the bridge of her nose.

"Oh. My. Gosh. Who is this person?! How did she get in my room?"

"Well to answer your first question I am Minerva McGonagall, Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And as to the second question I am in your room to give you your Hogwarts letter." Minerva answered truthfully ask she motioned for Alexandra to sit on the bed with her. Hesitantly Alexandra made her way to sit a good enough distance from the strange woman.

"Hog-What? How does this have anything to do with me...?" She asked as she shifted around on her bed to get comfortable.

"Hogwarts my dear. By the way you are acting I guess you know nothing about the wizarding world let alone about yourself and the powers you possess, do you?" Minerva questioned Alexandra while staring her down.

"Hogwarts?! Wizarding world? I possess powers..... oooh I wonder if they have anything to do with what happened today at school... I guess I'll have to ask."

"Wait... you said "wizarding world" what do you mean? Do witches and wizards really exist? You also said that I possess powers, do you know what they are? What will I tell my fam-" All of this just rushed out of Alexandra's mouth like vomit, until McGonagall cut her off.

"You are a witch, a Jones witch; I'll explain the significance of being one later on. The wizarding world is pretty self explanatory if you think about it. As for your family I will inform them tomorrow when I come and get you so we can get your school supplies from Diagon Alley. Speaking of your powers have you felt different today or did something abnormal occur?" McGonagall asked as she looked looked at Alexandra questionably.

"Well....." Alex started.

"Well what?" Minerva asked.

"Well..... my hair did change colors today and when I got annoyed it turned red, so I had to put my beanie on. I didn't tell anyone incase you were wondering. That's the reason why I raced up here to get my laptop..." Alexandra answered truthfully yet reluctantly.

"Yes that's what I was waiting for you to say. You see..."
