Chisaki locked up Izuku in Eri's room. He said it was to wait until the rest of One for All left his system. He still used Eri in some of his experiments, but left Izuku alone for the most part.

Ever since Izuku had given away One for All, his sanity had come back to him. Maybe it has been Eri crying and asking him what Chisaki had done to him or maybe it was the reality of the situation hitting him full force that he would once again be quirkless when the borrowed quirk completely left his system. Either way, he felt like a complete idiot. Sure, the quirk broke his limbs. Sure he couldn't use it right,  but it was a backup for bigger enemies. It got him out of a situation that bullets and knives couldn't.

Fricking insanity.

Eri was reading a children's book and Izuku had been given his own book to read from Chisaki, but he ignored it. He started to miss the video games that Shigaraki would let him play. He'd been in the final dungeon of Zelda, but now he would never be able to finish it!

"Izuku?"

Izuku glanced at Eri. "Yeah?"

"Are you thinking about escaping too?"

Izuku shrugged. "I guess I should be. I need the bullets from Chisaki though."

"Why?"

Because there's a half and half rich boy that I can't stab to death because of his stinking quirk. "I need to protect myself from the bad guys." Izuku didn't was to scare the girl.

"When you get them, can you take me with you?"

The words were quiet and hesitent, but Izuku was expecting them. She was too young to go through this kind of torture. "I guess, as long as you don't mind sleeping on the streets."

Eri looked far too happy at those words. It broke Izuku's cold heart to see her like that. It wasn't fair. Both of their lives had been ruined because of twisted villains. Izuku found himself missing his friends and mom. He wished he could go home and everything would be fine, but sooner or later, the insanity would come back. It would warp good and bad. He'd kill someone else.

He'd kill anyway.

He knew he would. Be couldn't stop himself. He wanted to see heads roll, blood paint the streets. He wanted to hear the scream of someone who just lost a dear friend again. He wanted to slowly choke someone to death. He wanted-

"Izuku?"

His brain snapped back to reality. For a second. He was scared he was strangling Eri, but when he looked down, he realized it was one of her huge dolls. When he he stood up? He looked back as Eri, who's eyes showed fear and concern. Izuku let the doll's neck slip through his fingers and he say back down on the bed. "Sorry about that. My mind goes blank sometimes and I go a little crazy, haha...."

Eri just nodded. "So does Chisaki."

Izuku winced. "I-I'm not like him. At least, I don't want to be. I don't hurt kids. I would never."

"Chisaki said that you've killed people."

Izuku winced at the words. "Um...yeah. My brain isn't entirely in the right place right now. Sometimes, it does it's own thing. Its really hard for me to stop."

Eri shrugged. "I guess that makes sense."

A few seconds of silence, then, "Eri, do you like heroes?"

Eri's face lit up. "Yeah!"

Izuku smiled. "I'm gonna be a hero. Or, at least I was until I was kidnapped by villains. I'd always really looked up to them. I thought they were really cool,"

"You can still be a hero," Eri said. Innocence shown in her eyes. It made Izuku smile sadly.

"Well, I can't. I've killed two people and if the heroes see me, I'll probably be sent to jail." he didn't want to go into detail while talking to Eri. She was too innocent for all this.

"You can be my hero."

The words were quiet, but they meant the world to Izuku. His eyes teared up, but he blinked them away. "Thanks, Eri. That means a lot, to me. I'll get us out of here. You'll see."

Eri smiled and wrapped her little, bandaged arms around Izuku's waist. "Thank you." Her quiet whisper was all Izuku needed. He knew that he could escape. A plan was already forming...

Long time no see!

Sorry for a late update, but the holidays were hectic and my sister can home from college, so I've been hanging out with her.

This chapter isn't as long as my other ones, but I hope it's enough. We'll get to more action next chapter. That should come out a lot sooner

Also, I did some Todoroki Fanart

I was starting to miss ink wash, so yeah.
