Todoroki knew that his advantage had suddenly plumeted, but he tried to stay calm. People had been telling him that he needed to be less reliant on his quirk and to train his body as well, but since that advice had initially come from his father, he had a tendency to brush it off. His quirk had been enough before, but now he just felt useless.

Todoroki ducked a little too late as Deku swung a knife at his face. The blade grazed the side of his head and sent a wave of pain through Todoroki. He staggered, but refused to fall. Midoriya grinned when he saw the blood dripping from the wound on Todoroki's white side of his head. "You'll be a full redhead pretty soon. You'll look just like your good ol' dad, won't you?"

Todoroki grit his teeth. He was finally learning to accept his dad as just another part of his life instead of the monster he remembered from his childhood. He did not need Midoriya to try and top him over the edge with old news. He decided to get over his trauma when he found out about the death of his classmates and how it was all because of Midoriya.

Todoroki dodged a bullet, almost purly by luck, that was aimed at his feet. That's when he realized Midoriya was just playing with him at the moment. He's seen Kirishima's injuries. His legs no longer worked and he had taken serious head trauma. Even after he had healed, he refused to talk to anyone about what had happened. It was also affecting his school work. He was bumped down into General Education for his injuries, but everyone just thought that he deserved to just go home and love the rest of his life in peace.

Todorki was ripped out of his thoughts when he felt Midoriya grab him by his hair. He tried to pull away, but the shorter boy slammed his already bleeding head into his knee. Todoroki felt his nose break, but used his height to his advantage and knocked Midoriya over, grabbing his wrists to pin him down. There. Now if he could just hold him until Yaoyorozu showed up...

Pain erupted in Todoroki's groin as Midoriya kneed him there in a desperate attempt to get free. It was enough for Todoroki to momentarily loosen the grip on Midoriya's hands, which was all the villain needed to switch their positions. After two fights, Izuku knew how to Keep his victim from fighting back. "Sorry, Todoroki-kun, but I don't like a fair fight." With that, he pinned down one of Todoroki's hands with his foot, and the other with his hand. He hummed as he reached for one of his knives and swore when he realized they were all in the alleyway. Todoroki uses this to his advantage and used his body weight to his advantage to shove the lighter boy off of him. He didn't let Midoriya recover as he aimed his fist at his head.

Izuku's reflexes moved faster than Even he thought they could, and he stopped the fist. Unfortunatly, Todoroki was no weakling and the force of the blow made him stumble slightly. Todoroki used this moment to run past Midoriya, hoping to get back to the public. Where was Yaoyarozu?

Todoroki got to the sign that started it all before he was tackled to the ground by Midoriya. "Sorry. I had to pick up my knives."

Yaoyarozu ran down the alley, watching for Todoroki. She had called the pros and they were tracking Todoroki through his phone. Everyone had been required to have a tracker on them at all times due to the incidents with Bakugou and Uraraka. Yaoyarozu tried not to think about the bodies of her dead classmates as she ran to find Todoroki. She just didn't want to be too late. Kirishima's nightmares and condition were hard enough to watch, so she didn't want to have to live through them.

Images of Todoroki dying where all that filled her mind and she tried to move faster, but that was making her head spin. Her anxiety and self-doubt were coming back to haunt her, but she pushed through. The thought of failure pushed her thoughts away.

When she rounded a corner, she wasn't mentally prepared to see Todoroki on the ground with Midoriya over him, plunging a knife into his stomach.

She didn't realize she had made a steel rod until she had smacked Midoriya over the head with it, knocking him off of Todoroki. She made a pair of handcuffs and tried to pin Midoriya to the ground to capture him. Instead, he rolled out of the way, pulling out a gun. Yaoyarozu made a shield and used it to protect both herself and Todoroki. She snuck a glance at her classmate and instantly regreted it. His head was covered in blood, his nose was broken, and, worst of all, There was a knife in his abdomen. Yaoyarozu tried to stay calm. Hopefully the knife hadn't hit any of his vitals. The worst thing was he looked like he was in so much pain. He was gasping in air through his mouth and looked like he was trying to stop himself from pulling the knife out.
