Izuku wasn't prepared for taking care of another person. Especially not a kid.

First off, Eri had to eat more then Izuku did. Sure, Izuku was still growing and needed the nutrients, but the League had practically starved him about it times which resulted in only having to eat every two days, three in a pinch. Eri, on the other hand, was always fed decent meals, three times a day, for All her life. She was a kid which meant she constantly needed to be nurished or she would die. Eventually, Izuku decided that when she needed to be fed, he would put on a disguise and go to the local homless shelter. No doubt that people would know Izuku's face since he killed two of his classmates. He nabbed a change of clothes that were slightly too big for him, a hat to hide his messy hair, and a face mask. Eri didn't need to hide since she wasn't a wanted criminal, but Izuku still opted to steal a few articles of clothes for her as well and he put her hair into two, very messy, braids. Besides, it might be enough for any of the Eight Precepts of Death to glance over her if Chisaki ever sent out a seech party to find her.

Great, Izuku thought. Now I've got the League and the Precepts of Death out for my head.

The two of them fell into a routine. Eat, sleep, survive, repeat. It wasn't the life that Eri deserved, but when he asked her if she wanted to go into a foster home or an orpanage, she would cry until Izuku promised he'd never betray her like that. The thing was, taking care of a kid wasn't good for Izuku's mind. He still fell into bouts of insanity, always without warning. Izuku always felt guilty when he'd come back from those states of insanity to see Eri cowering in a corner. She'd have nightmares, and it broke Izuku's heart to see her like this.

Still, the scrambled part of his brain was beginning to outweigh the guilt he was feeling. The voices in his head were getting louder and louder. The intervals of insanity we're getting longer, and, every once in a while, a voice would whisper things like 'wring her neck. It would be so easy...she's so tiny...' The nightmares came again and he lived in constant fear that he would kill Eri. He needed to direct that part of his brain elsewhere. The more he thought, the more he felt motivated to start his massacre once again. That would help the voices in his head die down. He wouldn't be temped to kill anymore.

"Eri, would you be sad if I killed someone?"

Eri fidgeted slightly. "I don't want you to be a murderer."

Izuku smiled sadly. He pulled Eri onto his lap and hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry. I don't want to end up hurting you."

Eri wrapped her little arms around Izuku hesitantly. "You really shouldn't kill people. That's not what a hero does."

Izuku shrugged. "I know. But...I'm not...I'm not a hero, Eri. I've done too many bad things in my life to be a hero. I'm sorry for lying to you. I can't be your hero."

Eri didn't say much after that. Izuku sighed, not knowing exactly what to do with her. He might kill her in a state of insanity without realizing it and he didn't want to do that. It had been a while since he had totally lost his mind, so he was constantly living on edge that he would lose it without warning. He had a plan, and now it was time to put it into action.

Izuku had the gun loaded and straped to his hip. Izuku had left Eri behind, telling her he had to do something. He didn't want her to see him like this.

He was dressed in his suit again and put on a grin. He cleared his thoughts and without warning, his mind became clouded. Eri was soon the least of his worries and instead he focused on what was ahead. He set a trap and now the fun was just beginning. The prey would soon fall into his trap.

Todoroki usually walked home alone. He didn't have too many friends, but even if he did, he still liked the peace and quiet. After Midoriya had disappeared for a second time, he would walk home on weekends with Yayorozu. He had to admit that he had started to realize the small crush he had on her, but he wasn't one to act on things so quickly. He wanted it to happen natually. They both lived in the same neighborhood, seeing as both of their families were rich and they found out their similar intrests. These were, of course, on the days that he didn't visit his mother in the hospital or the days were they stayed in the dorms. Being the son of the number 2 hero, Todoroki had a bit more freedom since, if anyone tried to attack their house, Endevor would be able to defend his child of the need came.

Todoroki was on his way to the hospital today. He had walked Yayorozu to the station before saying a quick goodbye and going to the hospital.

On the way, he remembered his mother saying she wanted some new flowers for her hospital room. He bought some that He thought she would like and was on his way.

He had fallen into a routine and wasn't watching closely. The road in front of him suddenly was blocked by a Detour sign. He sighed at the inconvinece and followed the way the arrow pointed, though he saw nothing wrong with the road. He was training to be a hero, however, so he needed to follow the law. The detour seemed to stretch out and soon he found himself in a maze of allyways. Once he hit a dead end, he decided that it wasn't worth it. He would just have to go his usual way. He turned to leave, but was met with a knife that flew past his head, nicking his ear slightly and embedding and blade into the wall. Without thinking, Todoroki got into a battle stance.

A short, green haired boy in a suit leaned against the detour sign from the road. "Thinking about your girlfriend? You didn't even notice when I put this sign up to confuse you."

A shiver went up Todoroki's spine. "Midoriya?"

"In the flesh," the boy's grin widened. "And you, Todoroki-kun. Glad to see you're in one piece. Won't be when I'm done with you though."

Todoroki dropped his bag and the flowers on the ground beside him. Midoriya had already killed two of his classmates and put Kirishima in critical condition. Nobody knew if he would be able to walk again and the mental strain had messed him up pretty badly too. Todoroki wasn't about to be next.

Without warning, Todoroki froze the entire alleyway. He then realized his mistake when he tried to run forwards. He was wearing his school shoes, which didn't help him not to slip on the ice. He quickly began to melt the ice, but Midoriya took advantage of his mistake. He took out the gun and fired at Todoroki.

Todoroki's instincts saved him that time. He dodged out of the way of the bullet and used his fire to try and keep Midoriya at a distance. With the other hand, he got his phone out of his pocket and called Yayarozu, hoping she would pick up.

"Hello?"

"I'm in an alleyway and I ran into Midoriya. Its near the hospital. Find a pro."

"Todo-"

The phone fell out of his hands as he dodged another knife. "Trying call for help? How boring. I guess I'll just have to finish you off quickly."

Midoriya was covered in burns, but they didn't seem to bother him. Without realizing it, Todoroki hadn't been using his full force against his former classmate. He didn't want to hurt him, even if all he was now was a coldblooded, insane, murderer.

Todoroki let his flames down for a second to let his ice cool his body temerature, but that was his mistake. Something hit him in the shoulder. It wasn't as painful as a gunshot, but he knew something was defiantly wrong. Something felt, off.

Izuku then came at him with full force. He had a life I'm his hand and he embedded it in Todoroki's other shoulder. The hero grabbed Izuku's arm to freze it, but instead...nothing. His quirk wasn't working.

He paniced.

Izuku loved the way that Todoroki's determination turned into fear. He twisted the knife further into his shoulder before kicking Todoroki back into the alley wall. "You should've been more careful, Todoroki-kun. You shouldn't have relied on your quirk so much. That was the same thing that killed Kacchan and Uraraka too. You're the strongest in the class, and, wow, you're dad's not gonna be happy when he finds your cold, disembered body on his doorstep soon. Of course, he'll really only miss you're quirk though, won't he."

Though the pain in his shoulders, Todoroki punched Izuku square in the face. The villain was so surprised, he was knocked back a few steps. "Who says I'll let you kill me so easily?"

Izuku grinned. "Oh. I think this is starting to get fun."

I just wanted to get something out!

Sorry that this is late. It say here half finished until I could find the motivation to keep writting.

Also, this is almost done so yay for me. No, there will not be a sequel. If I ever do another bnha fanfic, it'll probably be about Bakugou since all I did with him in this one was kill him off *cries*

Sorry for the crap. I really shouldn't force myself to write...
