she was wary of men because the last one her mother'd been with was abusive. he'd been with them for about three months- three horrible months- before stumbling out their front door in a drunken stupor.
she'd never hated someone more than she'd hated him.
she wanted to be in a relationship with somebody, but that fear of men kept coming back to haunt her. in all the years she'd spent dealing with people her mother hung out with, she'd learned to be most careful around the guys.
those were the ones that didn't just come for a drink.
she wanted someone to love, but she was too scared. she didn't want to get trapped again.her past made her afraid of the future.
