Here's the next part.
Remaining characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Rosalina, Toadette, Toad, Yoshi, Birdo, Bowser, Waluigi, Wario.
Characters dead: Daisy, Drybones, Donkey Kong.
"I'm worried for our safety," Rosalina expressed her concern. "If we stay here, we would be putting ourselves in danger."
"I'd have to agree with you on this," Toadette agreed.
Toad was staring off into space when something from the corner of his eye caught his attention.
It appeared something was concealed behind a flower vase.
"Hey guys! Look at this," Toad alerted the group.
He reached behind the flowers to reveal a medium-sized handgun.
"Woah!" Birdo took a step back. "Don't point that thing at me."
"And get this," Toad continued and revealed the bullet shell from upstairs. "This is the same type of bullet that goes with this gun."
"So this is what killed Donkey Kong, eh?" Yoshi examined the magnum.
"That looks a lot like Waluigi's handgun," Wario was focused on the look of the gun.
"What?" Waluigi's face scrunched up, as if that were impossible.
He walked through the crowd of friends to the center where Toad was holding it.
His eyes shot open in disbelief.
"Wha . . . huh . . . how . . ." he could barely speak.
Waluigi disappeared upstairs where all the overnight bags and suitcases were.
About thirty seconds later he came back down, shaking.
"Which one of you took my gun?" his finger was pointed at them, shaking.
"A better question is why the hell did you decide to bring THAT?" Toad pointed to the gun.
"Let's not mention that right after your tantrum in Mario Kart, Drybones just so happens to die." Waluigi yelled back. "Is it because he beat you?"
"I couldn't kill him!" Toad retaliated. "I'm not even strong anyways."
"You don't have to be strong to set off a bomb, buddy," Bowser's voice pounded. "just a smart nerd. Frankly, that fits you perfectly."
"Now hold it right there," Toadette butted in. "I KNOW Toad wouldn't do such a thing like murder."
"How much do you really know, sweetie?" Bowser said intimidatingly.
"Okay, okay," Rosalina tried to ease the tension of the room. "I'm not accusing you but why would you bring a gun if you weren't going to hunt?"
Waluigi looked around, appearing to be debating what he should say.
Then he looked back at Rosalina and sighed.
"I . . . " he stopped himself. "I got a message,"
"Like on your phone?" Yoshi's voice sounded from the back.
