Mike ran through the streets, trying not to slip on the wet concrete. Although the weather was clear in the morning, it had started to rain and Mike felt as if a storm was approaching. He kept running until he approached Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He remembered Stephanie saying that she went there when she didn't know where to go and decided that it was probably a good place to find them.
He ran inside and caught his breath. The pizzeria was filled with kids running around and playing. The parents were all in groups, talking to each other. When he ran in, the kids and parents around near the front entrance turned and looked at him.
He looked down at his hands. They were covered in blood from holding Vincent and he realized that his shirt had some blood on it too. Ignoring the screams, he quickly ran into the security office.
Fritz was there, looking through the pizzeria with the security cameras. The entire room was filled with the faint smell of bleach. Mike remembered the horrific events from the night and shivered.
Fritz looked up. "Hey Mike. Sorry about yesterday and all. What can I do for you?"
"Have you seen a girl come in the pizzeria? Or Jeremy?" Mike panted, still out of breath.
"Um... I see lots of girls come in but I haven't seen Jeremy. Why? What happened?*Just saying, no he didn't say any of that in a weird, creepy way.*
"No time." Mike turned around and started to leave. As he ran through the door, he yelled behind his shoulder, "Call me if you find him." He ran out of the pizzeria, this time not concerned with the eyes that followed him out.
Mike ran back to his apartment complex to find that the entire apartment had been cleaned and all the broken and torn things were in trash bags that were next to the door.
"Vincent?" Mike called.
Mike heard a voice that came from his room. "Oh, hey Mike. Did you find him?"
"No. I couldn't find Jeremy. And there's no sign of Stephanie either."
Vincent walked into the living room when Mike flopped onto the couch.
"I went to Freddy Fazbear's and I talked to Fritz. He said he hasn't seen them, but he said he'll call if he sees them."
At the mention of Fitz's name, Vincent scowled. Mike worried that he made Vincent mad. Mike looked at Vincent's face to see if Vincent was mad. However, it looked like Vincent was thinking about something very deeply. Mike got up to get a towel to dry himself off. Vincent looked around for Mike's laptop and once he found it, he went to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's website. Mike walked back into the living room once he was dry. He sat down and continued watching Vincent.
After a while, Vincent closed the laptop and Mike looked up at him. "I have a plan." Vincent announced. "We go to the pizzeria at night. We check the secret rooms and try to find Jeremy or Stephanie. We'll have to steal the keys, but I might now where to find copies."
"Why would we go at night? We don't even know if they're there and it's too risky."
"I want to go there. I don't care if you come or not. I need to check on something there, anyway. I'll be leaving here at 11 and I'll be at the pizzeria at 12."
Mike nodded. "I understand that you want to go, but I'll just go tomorrow. And before you do anything, I want to look at the cut on your forehead."
Vincent nodded and sat next to Mike. Mike pulled Vincent's hair up and looked at the cut. The cut had hit Vincent right at his hairline and traveled to just above his eyebrow. It was about two inches long and half an inch wide. The cut was very deep and it didn't look like Vincent tried to fix it, but he had tried to clean it.
"Wait right here."
Mike went into the bathroom to get his medical kit. He went back to Vincent and pulled out a magnifying glass to look at the cut closer. Mike spotted something in the cut. He used the tweezers to pull it out.
"What!?" Mike gasped, looking at the thing he pulled out of Vincent's head. "Is this a piece of the drawer!?"
Vincent looked at what Mike had pulled out. There was a piece of wood about half an inch long that was covered in blood. Mike and Vincent stared at each other in shock.
"Jeremy's with someone who can do this!?" Mike screeched.
Vincent just stared at him as he realized how dangerous Stephanie really was. He thought she was dangerous when she was a ghost and nearly killed him, but as a human, she had more power because she could physically harm them.
"I-I have to go with you tonight." Mike said. "I don't want anything to happen to Jeremy."
Vincent nodded. "Get your stuff ready. We leave at 11."
