"Ugh... Come on! Come. On! Ah!"

I cried out when the box fell on my head for the third time. Getting off my tippy toes and kneeling down I picked up the box.

"Stupid tall shelf.."

I pushed my hair back. Getting the hair out of my face and just taking the small box of candy and going to the counter. Digging out a few dollars and putting it into the register.

I sat down on my small stool, ripping open the box that had sour patch kids that were inside of it. Stuffing a few into my cheeks I waited for a customer to come in.

The shop isn't really a busy one. It was a little older, like an antique, I guess you could say. I've been friends with the owner since I was young, well my mom was, so I decided to work here for a while. Might as well let my first job be really comfy for me before I go to something bigger, like a restaurant or somewhere along those lines.

As I was looking down at the box to try to fish some more out, I heard the small bell of the door ring, but I didn't look up.

"Welcome," I yelled loud enough for them to hopefully hear. When I looked up when I got some more candy no one was there.

'In an isle I guess'

I looked up at the small tv hanging in the corner. Watching the news. I do that a lot when I work and get bored. Just watch the news.

"Breaking News, another shootout between two of South Koreas biggest mafia rivals has happened today, leaving 20 people dead and 15 arrested. Both leaders have not been found and police are on the search"

My eyes widened a little. "Woah". I couldn't imagine it. Living like that. Always on the run from someone. Living in fear one day you might not see the next do to someone hunting you down. Having to hurt someone. That's scary...

When the person walked out of the aisle, I finally got to see who it was. But my heart stopped when I saw. The guy. He comes in almost every day to get the same two things. A pack of gum, and a canned energy drink. Literally nothing else, nothing less every single time he comes here. The only thing that changes is flavoring.

He came around the corner kind of fast. Glancing at the front doors from time to time. He placed the stuff on the counter and I just stared at it for a bit before getting up from my stool and scanning both items.

"Good morning," I said quietly, still looking at the items.

"Hi" he kind of rushed out.

Finally, I looked up to tell him how much, but I looked at the wrong place. His eyes. Oh, those eyes...

They're like chocolate pools you could swim in. Swim in so deep you'd get lost deep in the bottom of them.

What was I doing again?

"Excuse me?"

I blinked a few times and they widened so much I thought they were gonna burst. I'm working what am I doing!?

"S-Sorry its um.. $3.50"

I held out my hand and he put the money into it, cause he already had it in his hand. Even before I told him the amount. Like I said. He buys the same things over and over again. So he WOULD know how much it is exactly I suppose. I put the money into the register and put the items into a small plastic bag. Handing it to him with a shaking hand for some reason. Why am I shaking?

"Thank you" he mumbled... but he didn't leave, nor move,"Whats your name?"

I felt my cheeks flush softly. This is the most he's ever said to me in a day. I kind of felt... happy about it? The man with the bright brown eyes is talking to me!

"It's um-"

"-um?" I saw the smile from underneath his mask which caused to form one onto mine,"Never heard a name like that before"

"No its Jimin. My name is Jimin"

His hand came up to his face and I thought he was gonna take the mask off, but he didn't sadly. He pushed the hair out of his eyes and then his hand came over to mine and pressed it to my forehead.

"You feel a little warm", he looked around again,"One second". He went over to the refrigerated part of the store and got something out of the door. Walking back over and put money down on the counter. "Make sure you drink this. Okay?". It was a bottle of water and a bottle of strawberry milk. I felt my face warm up again.

"Th-Thank you. Um", I pushed my own hair out of my face,"Whats your name- if you don't mind me asking! You don't h-have to tell me". Nice going Jimin. Scare him off why don't you.

He chuckled under the mask and under his breath. Sitting the two bottles onto the counter and pushing them over to me. "I don't really like to tell people my real name until I really get to know them. A little personal don't you think?"

I nodded in understand-ment even though, I really didn't understand the point of it. Unless he was apart of something big. "I guess, but can I have a nickname that I can call you at least. You always come in here and I don't know anything about you". I kind of sounded like I was begging, which was a little embarrassing to be doing that to a stranger.

"I think its better that you don't know anything about me Jimin... but, if you want a nickname I can give you one to call me I guess". It seemed like half an hour before he told me. I've been waiting for this moment! Now when he comes into the store I can start to say his name when I say hello. Or when I say good morning, afternoon, night. "You can call me... Jeon"
