JIMIN

It was a miracle. It was such a small miracle that I thought I was gonna easily cry at that moment.

I took a long nice warm shower this morning about ten minutes after I woke up, actually sitting down in the tub. Letting the water hit my back and on my head, letting it drip from my arms, from the ends of my hair, from my nose and chin. Tickling as it traveled down my back and down into the drain of the tub.

It felt so good to shower in my own home, but... why did it feel so lonely...

After thinking that I relaxed long enough, I stood up in the shower, wiping the water from my eyes as I turned off the water. Wrapping it around my waist as I stepped out, I took another towel and was drying my hair from being dripping wet to being damp.

I dragged my feet into my room, sighing as I pulled the towel from my waist and folding it onto the bed. I put on a pair of skin-tight black jeans, high tops and dry my chest off for the second time.

Just dress comfy Jimin...

I got a sweater, slipping it on over my head with a soft pop coming through the opening and pulling the sleeves down my arms and to the middle of my palms.

Going back into the bathroom, I got the hairdryer and brush. Fixing my hair to the parted curl I always loved. Once it was nice and fluffy and had the shape, I but the hairdryer away, getting my phone, wallet and leaving.

I speed walked, not wanting to be late. Today was the day I was gonna see if I still have my job. Please, please let me still have my job I'm begging...

I made it in earlier than normal time. Opening the door and smiling to hear the small familiar sound of the ding from the doorbell. "Welcome!"

My heart sank, but I slowly went over to the counter. Seeing who was standing there, taking over my position. I only smiled, more of fear than happiness when I saw it was the manager.

He looked up from the magazine he was reading when he saw someone stood to the counter. His eyes widened though. "Jimin! Thank everything you're okay!"

He jumped over the counter, making me jump hard but he didn't retract as he engulfed me into a tight hug. "Haha, hi Namjoon-hyung"

"Where were you!? I knew you wouldn't leave me I'm so happy" he let out an exaggerated sigh as he kept his head buried into my neck. Rubbing each other's backs but Namjoons was more comforting.

"I was really busy with something, and it happened so sudden that I couldn't contact you guys I'm so sorry. H-Have you... you know? Replaced me?"

The laugh in my ear made me jump, causing him to laugh out loud again. Pulling from the hug but holding onto my shoulders with a tight grip.

"Jimin". His large smile dropped to a soft one as he rubbed my biceps. "You know I could NEVER replace you here. You're my best worker. The only way to get fired is to steal something, which I know you'll never do"

I nodded agreeing with him. He grabbed my head, dragging me behind the counter and made me sit on the familiar stool I missed so much - for some reason. It hurts my butt after a while of sitting on it.

"I'm going now that you're here. I'm just glad you're okay" he sighed once again as he rubbed my head, causing me to groan. He laughed at that, waving as he left. "Good luck!"

The small rung to tell me he left. Sitting my hands into my lap, I looked around the store. A small smile growing as I crossed my arms onto the counter.

The store is the same as when I left.

I got a pack of gummies from the sweets isle after dropping money into the register. Snacking them as my eyes were glued to the small tv. Watching some kind of show about some sort of family drama then got into a fight with another family. A lot of yelling and arguing that only made me laugh instead of being irritated. Popping gummy bears into my mouth, I frown when the bag was empty and in an exaggerated way threw it into the trash can.

"Lame, I want more" I whispered as I laid my head onto the counter with my forehead. Closing my eyes and relaxing. Since I came in, there hasn't been a customer yet, which makes me happy. I really don't feel like messing with a customer yet.

Things don't happen the way you like though.

The little bell made me groan as I raised my head up. I don't want to deal with someone right now... but, business is business. I rubbed my head as I looked up. Not seeing the person come in I kinda moved my head around looking for the person. All I could see was the hat above the tall aisle wall. Moving around then ducking down till I couldn't see it at all.

I mean, I possibly won't know who it actually was, just that I want to see their face. We DO have a wanted paper under the counter with faces.

They finally came around the corner. "Jungkookie?" When they were in view I froze. They wore a flat bill cap, not a beanie, a mask pulled to their nose and glasses on. Along with those accessories, they had on a hoodie and sweatpants.

I watched as they placed down two bottles of large waters, a spray bottle of bleach and three individual colorful rags onto the counter. What a strange thing to buy.

It wasn't Jungkook though. Underneath the cap peaked strands of blonde hair in straight pieces. Not the deep chocolate locks that owned on Jungkooks head.

"J-Just these?" I cursed to myself in my mind when I stuttered. Why did I stutter. I'm not nervous so why-

The person didn't speak, just nodded as they pushed the contents closer to me on the counter.

I grabbed the items one by one, putting them into a singular large plastic bag. "U-Um 8$ please"

They put their hand into their hoodie pocket, fishing out the money and sitting it on the counter. Before I could count, they took the bag and left in a hurry.

I just blinked. Watching through the small window of them speeding walking down the street. "...have a good day?"

I sighed softly, taking the money and putting it into the register. Sitting down onto the stool and looking back at the tv.

What a strange person...

(a/n- I wanna cry I feel like my chapters are getting shorter and shorter which I hate so much...)
