9. The Determination in the Last Minute

Meeting Grey is not one of the plans. My plan was to meet the guy on the love card. Why can't I find him? Or maybe Madam Flaush lied to me. But I think, there's a chance that maybe I fall in love with Grey, but that can't be. He's not my type, definitely not. But it seems that there's something in him that I don't see. Will this be another heartbreak after Bruce? And will I write another line, "The 11th one is Grey, my manager who invites me to watch movie together and eat pizza"? It seems that the world rejects me to be here. Nature can't help me, even magic can't. Maybe it's time for me to let go everything and live this life as the way it is. Working and do good things. And the most important thing is, tonight is part of my life, and I have to make it wonderful.

*knock knock* *door opened*

"Olivia! Come in"

"Thanks. Wow, your place is very cozy."

"It's.....yes. I live here since 3 years ago."

"That's nice," I look around and I find a picture of the same guy on the love card hanging on the wall, "who is he, Grey?"

"Oh it's nothing, I can put picture of anyone I like right?"

"Yeah that can be," I nod then smile.

"Oh let's watch the movie right now, the pizza is getting cold."

"So....we will watch Harry Potter tonight."

"It's one of my favorite movies, that's great!"

*watching movie*

"Grey,......do you believe in magic?"

"Yes I do, don't you?"

"At one point, I find myself that I don't believe in it."

"Well, for some reasons, magic does work. But I don't say it works in anything. But it does work for some reasons."

"I believed in it once, but now, it seems a lie to me," I sigh, "Oh...I think we run out of pizza."

"That's okay, the movie will end soon."

I'm still looking at the picture on the wall. I can't believe it that the guy in the picture is the same guy on the love card. But Grey didn't tell me who the guy was.

"I think it's already late, see you at office tomorrow."

"Alright, thanks for the pizza tonight, Grey."

"Good night Olivia."

"Bye Grey," I smile and he closes his door.

It's 11:59 PM and it only takes 1 minute to face my worst fate ever. But I think, I can make it better but.........

"Grey!" I knock the door once again.

"What is it Olivia? Did you forget something?" he looked at me in confusion.

"Grey, I know I can't find love. And I don't want to search it because I know it will run for me. So, I think it's best to admit it rather than to search it. I love you Grey."

We are in a silence and Grey doesn't say anything.

"Umm well, I just want to admit that and I don't really expect any answer from you. But admitting is enough for me," I smile, turn and walk away.

"Olivia! Wait!"

I turn around and see the guy on the picture, standing in front of me now.

"Who are you? Are you living together with Grey?"

"Olivia, do you now believe in magical love?" he is approaching.

I'm speechless and I can't understand all of this.

"Olivia, you changed me! You break the curse! I was a bad guy and a witch came to curse me to be ugly then the witch told me that I should find a girl who love me the way I am and tell me she loves me and break the curse."

"So you're the guy in the picture hanging on the wall?" I smile

"Yes I am. Now, do you believe in magic?"

"Yes, I do," he caresses my hair and kisses me gently.

Maybe, what Grey said was right, "Maybe this is a destiny rather than a fate. Because it's my first day and meeting a person like you twice then drive you home this late night.........yes, it's destiny." Now I believe that meeting Grey is a destiny. It's something good I never think it will happen, but it happens accidentally which then changes my life forever.
