This day seems really different. I wake up in a fear that I won't find him in a month. The card lays on the table, illuminated by the morning sunlight. Sometimes it is moved a bit by the cold breeze. The sound of the friction follows my heart beat. I keep watching the moving card then finally my door is knocked.
"Olivia...your breakfast is ready," my mom shouted from the outside.
I sit fast and hide the card in my drawer. "Yes mom! I'm coming."
My mom hates anything about magic, but not me. Since I was a child, I love anything magic. Even, I bought a magic wand and tried to spell my dolls so that they would wake up in the night. Surprisingly, they did! I wasn't sure about that, whether if it was a dream or reality. One of my doll, Shasha, came to me and said, "Olivia, you will find your true love after those tears."
I paused and I saw Shasha's eyes turned red. My heart stopped at that time and I ran to my grandmother, crying.
"What's the matter, sweetie?" she asked.
"Shasha turned into a red-eyes witch, grandma," I replied.
"Really? Maybe you're just dreaming," she tried to calm me down and led me back to my bedroom.
When I came back, I saw nothing had happened there. Every doll was sitting nicely on my bed and,....just like nothing had happened.
Until now, I still remember that incident perfectly. But the thing that bothers my mind so much is the words Shasha said that day. Will it be come true? Does it have a relation between my fate and the card Madam Flaush gave me?
