My Reason To Be (A One Direction Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Niall's POV-

Everyone has that one moment in their life of complete contentment. Caught in that moment, they can look back at their life and honestly say "Yeah, I've done good." For me, that moment was every time I sing my solo in Moments. Opening my eyes and looking across the audience and seeing all our fans singing along, and knowing that I've made a difference in someone's life. Not just one person, but thousands and thousands of people. This is when I am truly the most thankful. As I sing, I look at these boys next to me, my best friends. I couldn't have ever asked for better people to spend my time with. I am so incredibly proud of each at every one of them. They've done so much for me, more than I could ever explain. As I reach the end of my solo, I look out across the fans, screaming and waving their signs. I try to look at individuals each in turn. Then, without any warning, I see her. The most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my whole life. I have eyes for her only, and sing to her, just to her. My only thought is just simply, "This girl will one day be my princess."

Alex's POV-

They say when you're at a concert, it always seems like whoever is performing is looking right at you, the whole time. Obviously, that isn't true. There's thousands of people, so they can't possibly be looking at just me. But as I stood in the crowd at my first One Direction concert, I could swear that Niall was looking straight at me, the whole time he was singing. I didn't understand why though. I'm not that pretty, and I wasn't really screaming that much. I mean, I was mostly there for my best friend Montana. She was the obsessed one, the one who loved them with all her heart. I didn't love them, but I didn't hate them. I was really here to support her. But this beautiful boy was staring right at me, I could swear it. It seemed like it was just the two of us in the world and I was the only one that mattered to him right now. Of course, this could possibly be true... Could it?
