the crowd of friends chanted as the lights turned on and the door opened meaning ariana's entered her surprise birthday party & her reaction was genuine, it hadn't been a happy birthday at all.
" my whole heart, thank you all so much. " ariana appreciated the crowd of friends around her but she couldn't help but feel embarrassed and feel like it was a pityparty everyone in that room knewhersituationwith isaiah

skies was ariana's rock through this whole situation with isaiah and only wanted ariana to have a smile and forget about the pain for a while but not to numb it from drugs and alcohol which ariana wouldn't consume either way but by having fun with her close rapper friends

the next 2 hours were filled with fun dancing with the boys who she cherished their friendship at all times also tons of snacking and water breaks as gazzy even took off his shoes to make no crease
the clock hitting midnight was coming close but she was in hope for someone to arrive, and he did —no not isaiah but jah
" ariana! " jah called out her name loudly enough as he could as the music was loud and she jumped on him
she hadn't seen him in what felt like months and couldn't help but hug the heck out of her closest friend
" it feels good to see you again. " the two said in a unison
and then he started to greet the rest of the guys when realized isaiah wasn't here but he understood sometimes they were on the rocks but he was always there even if they were mad, especially for her birthday at least
" where's isaiah? " he whispered in her ear
" CAKE TIME ! " everyone yelled
her heart had dropped, she actually hadn't heard his name in the couple of days and she really didn't feel like having 20+ cameras recording her blowing out that candle for a wish that might not even happen
she hoped he would show right about now but maybe it's too late and maybe he already made his decision and she wasn't the one. but before she realized, she was sitting in front of the red velvet cake that had a collage of pictures of her and the guys.
" remember to make a good wish! " jah smiled
the clocked hit 12, and so they sang and the flash turned on
