SCENE 1

At RISE

(Angelene enters, still on her phone while she holds a spoon and fork to the center. She reads a poem.)

ANGELENE

Then plainly know my heart's dear love is set

on the fair daughter of rich Capulet.

As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine,

And all combined, save what thou must combine.

By holy marriage. When and where and how

We met, we wooed and made exchange of vow,

I'll tell thee as we pass, but this I pray:

Let this wedding be successful today.

Oh, she knew well

His love did read by him, which could not spell.

For this alliance may so happy prove

to turn our households' rancor to pure love.

(Angelene exits. The curtains and lights open with a new scene.)

SCENE 2

At RISE

(Juliet walks around her bedroom and she feels extreme boredom.)

JULIET

I wonder what satisfaction Romeo wants to have and I cannot wait to know. By the way, where is Nurse?

(Juliet sits on her bed and gets her cellphone on the top of a table at the left of the bedroom. She dials her maid's number and calls her. The Nurse is not answering but a few seconds later, she arrives panting. She goes to Juliet to deliver Romeo's message. Juliet then stands up)
