Chapter 10: Homecoming!!

Mel Kingston:

"Are you sure about this?" As i stared at  the huge white box and inside lay folded perfectly inside was a champage/ golden gown folded into a square. I drew it out of its box and shook it out, then it revealed its true glory as i took in the beauty of it. The way the sequenced fabric flowed was elegant. If words could describe perfection, this would be it. I was itching to try it on. Suddenly, I felt excited.

I tried to picture it: me at the ball, wearing this amazing thing of beauty. I could already see the way that I wanted my hair to flow with it.

"Yes Mel this will totally get chads tongue wagging" I ran into the washroom to try it on It was my symbol of elegance. The lustrous, pearl-beaded fabric of my dress glinted, light reflecting from the ballrooms glow. It fit flawlessly, the dress molded my torso beautifully, complimenting my feminine shape. The gown draped past my toes, slightly drifting from my legs. It was the color of a tan opal. It’s strapless style revealed my precious collarbones wrapped in smooth, luring, skin. My posture was perfect, my shoulders were pulled back and my hands were held together in front of me.

"I love it" I smiled at lisa, her face was scrunching up as she stared at me  " We need to do something with your hair"  she grabbed a heavy load of hair extent ions and a straightener.

"Don't worry this won't hurt" as she stared at me.

After getting ready i couldn't help but stare at the person in the mirror, was this really me? this can't be I mean lisa put some make up on so i don't look recognisable but wow i didn't think she will be that good.

"So why is it homecoming already" Said me " Well It's not really homecoming its a get together so everyone can find there mates" replied lisa so if i was in this school i would of found chad in home coming.

"Ready" as lisa stared at me.

"Yeah i am"

CHADS POV

So I'm stuck at this lame homecoming with my gang I hate thi I already found my so called mate.

"Hey Chad"  some girl i had no idea who was coming towards  " Its me molly" Oh some blond chick with her cleavage showing and not the good kind(sorry if i offended anyone). i think i banged her, I'm not interested since i have my mate,"Wanna dance" trying to sound all seductive, Why not since Charlie already rejected me "sure" Walking towards the dance floor as she started to grinding on me. All i could do is think of charlie, a scent of apples hit me as i looked straight at the door to see a beautiful girl and her friend.

Her hair was a rich shade of mahogany. It flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were a bright, emerald-green and seemed to brighten the world. A straight nose, full lips - she seemed the picture of perfection. Had she smiled, the world would sigh with contentment. Had she laughed, the world would laugh with her. And had she wept, the whole world would want to comfort her.

I can't have two mates so its must be CHARLIE!! I purred in joy to see her like this, but all i could see was the hurt in charlies eyes then i realised i had this random girl all over me.

I'm such an idiot.

Me and Lisa nervously walked inside to see the homecoming was full in swing the wanted chasing sun was blasting the speakers, I smiled homecoming looked so great all the guys were in really expensive suits.
