It was a rainy fall day in the capital of South Korea, and a tall, young man by the name of Seunghyun was making his way to his favorite café for a morning kick-start. He pulled his hood down from his head as he arrived at the café, making his entrance.
However for the young employee, Jiyong, it was just another long day at work. Another day where he had to listen to complaining costumers, the ringing of the bell every time someone stepped inside the store and deal with the smell of coffee and his annoying boss, telling him how to do this and that. It was the same every day but he needed the money or else he would probably be living on the streets by now.
The bell certainly did ring when Seunghyun entered. He actually enjoyed that sound. It was almost soothing to him. Never mind that though, he had coffee to order!
Smiling, he approached the counter. He also noted that the man who'd be serving him was adorable; and didn't look like he enjoyed his job.
Without looking up, Jiyong said, "Hello, welcome to Coffee Star, the best way to start your morning. What can I help you with?" His voice was a monotone. After saying it every day, it wouldn't make a difference if it was coming from him or a robot because it sounded exactly the same.
Seunghyun tilted his head with confusion. 'This guy must have really, really hated his job.' He thought to himself.
"Ah, yes, may I have a medium caramel latte, please?" He requested, reaching into his back pocket for his wallet.
"One caramel latte it is. Anything else?"
Seunghyun acted as if he was pondering on that for a moment, but then smirked as a sly plan came to him, "Make that two lattes. The second can be whatever flavor you prefer."
Shocked by what the employee just heard, he looked up in curiosity as his eyes met a handsome stranger. Still amazed, he couldn't help but feel like he needed to know this blue haired stranger.
"Really?" He said whilst giving away a wondering smile, "I don't know; I'm not such a big coffee fan."
'Playing hard to get. Cute.' Seunghyun chuckled softly.
"Just pick anything for yourself; anything at all, I insist." He urged.
Jiyong was still dazed as to how a stranger could just walk into his shitty working place, order and leave his world upside down in less than one minute. He had caught his attention more than the time when a gang of dancers decided to throw a flash mob inside the little coffee shop.
"Well, normally I don't eat at such a dull place like this, but I will allow it this time. I think it'll be cool to say a blueberry had offered me coffee today." He said playfully, whilst pretending to write something down so he didn't have to reveal his flushing cheeks to the man.
That drew a laugh from Seunghyun.
"A blueberry, huh? I'm sure you know blueberries are more of a purple shade though, don't you?", He teased and winked at Jiyong, "This place is only as dull as you make it out to be."
