Taemin fluttered his eyes open as he turned his head to the side. 'Why do my head hurt so badly?' His eyes went wider as he saw the room he was in. The room seemed so familiar yet not.

He got himself seated as he looked around. His eyes suddenly spotted something he knew he had seen before... Minho's favorite sport shirt.

"Hi." A voice sounded from the door. It was the owner of the shirt.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, not wanting to get closer as he had seen how uncomfortable it had made Taemin feel before today.

“What happened?” The younger looked confused around as he rubbed his head in pain.

“The singing went too far." Minho forced a smile which only made the youngest worried.

He knew when Minho was faking a smile and he always was; except when he was with Taemin... but now? He even faked it in his company too. Something was wrong.

"And that's the truth?" He questioned Minho's words.

"You fell and hit your head." The other corrected fast, not wanting to sound like someone who ever would lie.

"Oh, still telling the truth I hear."

“What do you mean?" Minho looked confused at the other he titled his head.

"You know what I mean." Taemin replied as he got seated on the edge of the bed so he could face Minho even better. "Why have you been acting so weird lately?"

"What do you mean?" Minho asked, knowing exactly what the other meant. "We haven't seen each other in months."

"Exactly..." Taemin replied as he planted his sad gaze into his lap. "Why?”

Minho swallowed the guilt as he looked at the other. He couldn't tell why... that would ruin everything.

"I'm sorry. I know you've apologized, but you never told me why you would even consider hurting me?" Taemin let out a dry chuckle.

“Hurting?” Minho repeated as his heart dropped by the brown haired boy's words. Did he really hurt the person he loved the most?

"Yeah… Hurting." Taemin repeated as he looked up. "Why would you leave me?"

Minho's attention was glued to the skinny boy as he was talking. The athlete swallowed as he looked into Taemin's eyes. He looked so empty for emotions, yet so hurt, but there was no sign of tears. Not that he had ever seen Taemin cry... No one really had.
