From then on, the warmer days slowly grew weaker and weaker, the cool winds urging them to quickly graduate into chillier, more brisk days. And that's how everyone knew the dawning of autumn was upon them. This was one of Seunghyun's favorite seasons, which the three-surname household quickly found out as he grew warmer, always seeming to want to hug someone.
The leaves outside died from green, to more daring, fiery colors as the days proceeded to grow colder and colder, the people of Seoul acknowledging it by wearing more and more.
Soon enough, the trees had been stripped of all of their beautifully changing leaves, and everything starting becoming dyed a grey-white. Winter.
It had been exactly six months since Jiyong and Seunghyun had started dating, and right now, the three whom lived in the house, along with their pets, were standing in the living room, admiring a well decorated and lit tree. A Christmas tree. The couple had allowed their son to place the star at the top. Just like he'd asked. They had just finished, when Seunghyun asked, "Can you believe there's only four more days until Christmas...?"
"I know... time have just passed by so fast." Jiyong replied as a smile reached his eyes.
Taemin looked amazed as he walked around the tree to admire every little detail, Kawaii had followed along the brown haired as it only had grown closer to the young boy.
"When do we get off from work?" Jiyong asked, wanting to know if they had to work until Christmas day.
The two best friends had been very happy for the job and Taemin had been handling it very well despite he still blacked out or fainted at times. But Seunghyun had been good at giving the youngest a break when he needed it and Jiyong was thankful for it.
Seunghyun managed a smile as bright as the tree's lights back down at Jiyong. "I didn't tell you? Today was our last day. The gallery's closed until the 28th." He beamed brightly. Jiyong was right. Time did fly. And it never hesitated to keep on going, no matter what happened. Kind of like Jiyong and Seunghyun's love, which, believe it or not, had only grown larger, despite their beliefs of that not even being able to even happen. Not much had changed in the six months that had gone by, besides Seunghyun's hair color; which was now dyed back to its original black after the blue faded.
He wrapped an arm around his love, placing a soft kiss on the boy's temple. "We have a whole week to ourselves."
"The kids are still here." Jiyong whispered. Taemin and Kawaii seemed to peak their head out from the Christmas tree as they looked at the others. "Ya, the 'kids' can hear you." He pretended to scold.
Taemin and the puppy looked so alike with everything they did, and then there was the hair color which matched too. Jiyong chuckled by the thought. He was glad Taemin had grown so close with the puppy, now that he and Minho haven't talked since the day he had left so suddenly. The young boy had been pretty depressed about it, but Taemin seemed to do just fine now as he had started at the dance studio with Kai. He loved it and he even brought the passion home as he was always showing off his new moves.
