there was chatter filling the small building of tweak bros coffee, people sharing time together over a nice hot cup of coffee. tweek noticed a couple in the shop who were holding hands over the table and smiling warmly at each other as though they were the only people in there. he briefly smiled before returning to wipe the bench.
the bell dinged and tweek's head flung in the direction, hoping to see craig but it was someone else. they approached tweek at the counter and he took their order, the thought racing in the back of his mind that craig stood him up.

craig paced back and forth in his room, thinking over what to say to tweek. so far he was at a loss of things to say and was getting frustrated at the amount of stress building up. he stopped and groaned deeply when something caught his eye.
on his set of drawers was the gift ruby told craig to give to his soulmate; who he now knows to be tweek. the memory of finding out only the previous night flashed through his head and he suddenly felt more nervous, but also completely happy with who his soulmate turned out to be, he couldn't have wished for anyone else.
he picked up the gift and read the gift tag, made by ruby herself of course. it was nicely decorated in hearts and rainbows and even a flick of glitter;
| dear, [craig's soulmate] <3
| from, tricia! <33the flip side had a little note too;
hello! i wish you two the best in life as soulmates and i know that you will both be happy and love each other forever and ever!! <3
(p.s. craig, i'm so happy for you!!! aaa!!!!)craig smiled at the note and knew he had to definitely thank her again later, but first he had to go see tweek and especially give him this present. he grabbed his bag at the foot of his bed and put the present in it, curiosity growing of what his sister had gotten.
he quickly put his bag on and left his room, he headed down the stairs and noticed his parents weren't around. he rolled his eyes and continued leaving the house. he began the short walk to the coffee shop, since it was later at night he was hoping barely any customers would be there like tweek said. he did notice barely anyone out anyway and took this as a sign to mean the same for the shop.
the coffeehouse was now in sight and he quickened his pace, eager to see tweek.

tweek was beginning to really think craig wasn't showing up. it was almost eight o'clock and he would have to actually start closing up soon. he tapped his finger on the bench and would now and then take a sip of his coffee.
there was only one customer in the shop and they was listening to music through their headphones at a high volume and tweek could almost pick up what the singer was saying. he would occasionally glance at the customer and wonder why they were here all alone drinking coffee in this coffeehouse. he frowned and rested his head on his arms, facing away from the door. he closed his eyes to rest from his long shift.
the bell above the door rang and he took it as the customer leaving, his frown deepened.
"tweek?"
his head shot up at his name and noticed craig standing before him, holding the straps of his bag almost like a child.
"craig! he-hey! sorry, i didn't notice you came in," he fidgeted with his hands embarrassed about thinking craig wouldn't come.
