Through Space & Time (Voltron time-travel AU)

     Allura's eyes fluttered open as she tried to make out what was going on in her lion, had she been knocked out, what time was it, more importantly, where was she?  she stood up trying to compose herself but was only greeted with darkening vision and an equilibrium that was unwilling to cooperate. Sit down Allura, she thought to herself taking a few breaths, she did not have her land legs back.

   she checked the coms only to find white noise "Okay, I have crashed landed, the coms are down, and I have absolutely no idea where I am, perfect," she said to herself, "I guess its time to stand again there nothing I can do in here," she stood up slowly anticipating her fall but this time she manages to keep her wits about her. she left her lion shielding her eyes from the harsh sun only to be greeted by desert. nothing here was even remotely familiar. she went back into lions and started to fly west with the idea that if she just kept flying that she was bound to run into some sort of civilization.

  She sailed through the sapphire sky for what seemed liked hours before she saw a building resembling an abandoned farm appear in the distance. allure tried the com system one last time before taking the advantage of the deserted outer buildings to land her lion and explore the outside surroundings. looking out she saw a small town nearby, she walked through the streets feeling a bit overdressed in her paladin armor. She went to ask someone what planet she was on when she spotted a grotesque pair of ears. a wave of nausea and relief hit her as she realized she was on earth. Now the only question she had was WHERE on earth. Gathering all her strength and walked towards a group of girls sitting on a park bench chatting amongst themselves. do not vomit, she thought to herself. She knew it was childish for human ear disgust her the way they, did but despite living with the boys, and lance for as long as she has she hasn't quite gotten used to them. 

"Excuse me," Allura called to the girls interrupting them in mid-conversation, "but I was wondering if you could inform me of where exactly I am?"

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Shirogane," one of the girls replied putting her full attention on the silver-haired woman, "what was that?"  

Allura look a the girl quizzingly "P-Pardon?" she stammered.

The human teen pointed to the playground in front of them, "Alfor is on the monkey bars if you want to go get him"

 Allura snapped her head over her shoulder half expecting to see her father but instead was greeted by a six-year-old boy running toward them. As he got closer she realized why the child shared a name with her father, he was almost an exact copy, the same piercing blue eyes, and  just about the same hair and skin, the only difference she could see was the single black streak on the right side of his silver hair and the blue Altean markings enveloping his arm also on the right side.   

 "Mommy," alfor stop himself as he got a good  look at her he tilted his head, "mom?"

Allura pulse quickened as she heard those words, mother sense when? the little boy grabbed her hand pulling her down so her ear was against his mouth "ok I don't know whats happing but I know who might follow me," Alfor looked back at the teenager who was watching him "see you Kiki" she waved goodbye as she watched them leave.

"Where are we going," Allura asked Alfor as he dragged her across the street.

"Home," he said as if she knew exactly what he was talking about 

"And where might that be?" the little boy pointed at the end of the road where she saw a small, quaint house, big enough for a family of three or four but defiantly not big enough for hosting family reunions. Allure watch the boy fiddled with the oversized door handle which probably wasn't oversized but in his six-year-old hand it looked enormous it took him a few time to successfully open the door. 

they walked into a man tieing his shoes, to Shiro tieing his shoes.

"Daddy I'm home" the Alfor cried startling the older man.

"Alfor I was just about to go get-" Shiro stopped himself as he caught sight of Allura. Shiro stared at her, then his son, then back to her. needless to say, this went on for a while before he gave himself a facepalm. 

"Alfor,"  Shiro said now with full attention on the boy, "why don't you go make some milkshakes?"
