"Well, you see I was going to go hunting for elephants," the older Shiro stated without making eye contact to anyone in the room a small chuckle entered the room as all Allura softly punched her husband in the stomach. and after that again they told the astonishing events that had happened throwout the afternoon.
"Well then," the older Allura replied coldly "I need another cigarette."
"another?" lance complained
"Yes, another," Allura wined back "I'll be outside" the older pidge took her hands out of her jacket and spoke for the first time since she got there. "yeah I could go for a cigarette," Pidge said following behind.
the younger Allura interrupted the newly found silents "why are you so surprised that we're married."
"cause I'm/he's gay," both the younger Shiro and the older Allura said unanimously. the whole room seemed to stare at the elder Altaen's words.
"what, did you think I didn't know?" chuckled the older Allura
"then why?" the younger Shiro asked sounding mildly distressed
the older Shiro spoke up "we got pregnant with Alfor out of wedlock-"
"ok but why?" the younger Shiro interrupted.
"BECAUSE WE'RE SAD, LONELY PEOPLE TAKASHI" the older Allura shouted having enough of everyone just beating around the bush. " you were lonely, I was lonely, we both were thoroughly drunk. it not like there was any feeling on your side and there certainly wasn't any on mine."
the room stayed silent as Allura hung the dirty laundry she had been keeping to herself for the past six years. "QUIZNAK" she cried again through some tears that had been building up, "I just need another damn cigarette." she froze as her husband hugged her tightly.
"you've been keeping that in for a while haven't you 'Lura" at this point she was crying, "shhh, shhh it'll be ok, It'll be ok." he grabbed something from out of her back pocket the younger Allura fumbled with her bayard as she watched the older Shiro activate his arm, she was about to strike when-
"there," the older Shiro said placing a lit cigarette in his wife's mouth, "that better?" the older Allura nodded, "I think a nap would you a world of good, don't you?" she nodded again did an about-face and stumbled to her room.
"What the hell was that," the younger Shiro said to his older counterpart.
"That," the older man said turning to face the living room, " is why everyone hates you."
