A/N: Thanks to everyone who read/voted!  I'm not exactly sure what that means as I am still figuring out this website but I'm positive it's good so THANK YOU! <3  I hope you like Part 4 :)

“I can’t believe you guys are leaving. You’re the first people I’ve had a legit conversation with in months. Well, except my mom,” I sighed.

Charlie and Alex both looked at me sadly. “Thanks so much for showing us around, that was totally cool,” Alex smiled half-heartedly.

“It was the least I could do,” I said, looking up at Charlie, “I mean, you did save my life.” When I looked back in front of me I saw we were at my apartment building. I turned around and hugged Alex. Then I hugged Charlie. But the thing was, I didn’t want to let go of Charlie. It didn’t seem like he wanted to let go of me, either. We rocked back and forth, until finally I felt we were slipping away from each other. I stood on my toes and kissed him on the cheek. “That was for everything,” I whispered just loud enough for him to hear. Then, before I could start to cry or whatever, I turned and went inside the building.

No. No, this isn’t right. I stopped walking up the stairs. Don’t let then leave, they can’t just leave, oh my, god, Aimee, GO BACK. Lucky for me my legs actually did what my brain told them too and the sprinted back down the stairs and burst through the door. Charlie and Alex were both still standing there, and the smiled at the sight of me.

“Come to Cali with us,” Charlie said suddenly.

“I’ll meet you at your hotel in a half hour.” They went off in the other direction and the moment they were out of earshot, I screamed with excitement.

—————

“Hello?” the familiar voice answered the phone.

“Mom! You will never, ever, in a zillion years, EVER-“

“Get to the point honey.”

“-believe this!” I yelled.

“Maybe I will. What is it?”

I shook with happiness. “I’m going to California!”

“When?”

“Now!”

“How?”

“It’s not a busy airport. There’ll be tickets.”

“No, no that’s not what I meant. Why? With whom? Where? Who will you be staying with?”

I laughed, and then I realized the only question I could answer was ‘with whom?’. “With these guys named Charlie McDonnell and Alex Day,” I said.

“Which one is it?” she pushed.

I giggled, but then said, “So I might have a crush on this Charlie guy…”

“Oohh! I’m so happy for you! This is your first crush in…in…”

“Ever,” I sighed.

“Oh. And you’re communicating with people your age again?”

“By accident.”

“Better than nothing!” she squealed. “So how long will you be there?”

“Um, I…I don’t know…”

My mom was silent. “The only details you know are the two guys names?”

“Yes?”

“Well, good luck. Call me when you get there. Don’t blame me if you get in trouble!”
