Chapter 10: Scared

few weeks later....

finn's pov

after a few weeks, i had the courage to tell her. i went to her house knocked. as usual, her sister answered the door.

"hey- finn? how are you?" she asked.

"can i talk to y/n?" scratching the back of my neck.

"yeah. go in, she's in her room." she pointed.

i walked up the stairs and i hesitantly knocked on her door. she answered after a few seconds.

her eyes widened, "finn?"

"i'm sorry. i came here to apologise and explain what happened a few weeks ago." i nervously said.

"come in." her face softened.

y/n's pov

i was shocked to see finn outside my door. i let him in because i felt different without him.

"what are you going to say?" i asked.

"i know.... you're starting to believe what noah said but i- i hope you'll understand that i h- have an an-nger issue." he said, almost stammering in all words.

"why did you not tell me sooner?" hugging him.

i knew he started to cry as he sobbed, "i was scared you'd hate me. i wasn't ready. i'm sorry." i patted his back and cupped his face so he would look at me. i kissed his lips gently to calm him.

i let him lay down on my lap and i caressed his forehead. i wasn't used to him crying with emotion. he started to mumble 'i'm sorry' over and over again. his breathing started to slow down and i figured he was asleep. i laid my head on the headboard and slept myself.

i woke up by finn nuzzling his face into my chest. i hugged him tightly for a while and i jumped when somebody was calling me, noah. i declined it and texted him to not call me because finn was in my room.

noah: did he tell you?

y/n: that he has an anger issue? yes

noah: i told you he was dangerous for you. he could hurt you

y/n: don't worry i'm fi-

"who are you texting." his voice, raspy.

"noah." i said.

"why are you texting him?" he said, with a rough tone.

"why is it such a big deal for you?" i snapped.

"because he likes you! don't you get that! he might take you away from me!" shouting in my face.

i pushed him roughly to get out of my way. "what the hell! i'm leaving!" he pushed me harder. before he got out of the door my sister knocked.

i answered 'come in!', i was getting scared of finn.

"what's going on? your voices are too loud!" she said.

"ask her." he spat, pointing at me.

he eventually left and i was left with my sister. "hey.. he seems dangerous. i'm actually scared of him. you should too."

i started to sob and i showed my bruise from finn pushing me.

"that seems nasty." she hugged me. "i won't let that boy hurt you again." she added.
