My lashes slowly fluttered open, revealing my glossy hazel-coloured pearls. The room around me was dim and quiet. Currently, I was lying in bed; a large, heavy duvet wrapped securely around my tiny body, it was so soft and comforting it made my mind wonder as to why I was in bed.

The only light in the room was sunlight, its rays airing throughout the window, radiating off from the walls, observing the place allowing its atmosphere to become eccentric. I tried moving but immediately fell back down once I felt a stinging and burning sensation erupt within my frail body.

Without my acknowledgement, the door to the room I was in opened. It was Jin-hyung. I wanted to say something but couldn't as I remembered my guilty-conscience. "Here" I hadn't realized he was holding a cup filled with herbal green tea - with a hint of honey - that he had generously made for me. I carefully sipped on the hot liquid, feeling it go down my aching, parched throat that I wasn't aware of until now.

"Where am I?"

"Home" he answered.

He took the mug from my hands and placed it on the nightstand.

"Do you remember anything?" He says while bringing a chair close to the bed and taking a seat.

"Some what.."

"Rei-hyun...and his 'friends' did this...Apparently, he thought he'd finish what he had started before..." you couldn't hear but you could tell the way his Hyung had said that, that his voice was laced with sorrow. I looked away as I felt tears sting my eyes. Jin-hyung placed his hand atop my forearm, pulling my attention away to look back and face him.

"Jimin...I now understand why Suga and Hoseok wanted you to live with us" I rose a brow, with a puffy worn-out expression, wounds that tatted it drastically...

"They wanted to protect you"

But they didn't protect me...

I looked down, my expression was emotionless. I felt numb at this point and it hasn't officially been a week since I've attended this school. Seokjin sighed "I'm gonna go make dinner. I'll get someone to bring you food once it's made" I watched as he left the room. That's when I couldn't hold my tears back any longer. I felt the warm salty liquid descend down my face. I cover my face letting tears stream down from my hands.

I continued to do that until I passed out.

I spotted Seokjin leaving mine and Jimin's room. I walked up to him, asking if he's alright "He's fine however, he has some serious injuries so he's gonna need rest and a lot of it" he mentions. I felt guilty and useless in which Jin-hyung could tell by my sudden expression change. He placed a hand on my shoulder, reassuring me that everything will be fine. Although I stayed quiet as what I presume he was gonna make dinner.

Hoseok walks up to me and embraces me I humbly accept the gesture, knowing we're both in the same situation. We both felt guilty that we didn't protect Jimin like we said we would. After all, he was beaten up and I was just outside of the classroom!. Right now; Hoseok is the only one who can understand which somewhat feels nice not being alone in this matter. The younger pulls away with a soft smile "Don't worry you're not alone"

"I know..."

We both walked to the living room seeing the younger's playing video games. Taehyung paused the game once they notice our presence "YAH!" Jungkook shouted.

"Is Jiminie okay?" Asked Taehyung, ignoring the ravenette.

"He should be fine. Just needs rest" Seokjin cuts in, standing with arms crossed.

"Aren't you suppose to be cooking supper?" Hoseok mentioned.

"I have to let it boil" The others began chatting like everything was fine after that—everyone except Suga. His mind was still on Jimin and how he's recovering in bed from the sudden attack. Seokjin could sense Suga's sadness so the elder headed into another room and then came back with a bottle. Namjoon stares at Seokjin oddly "Here have a shot of this" Seokjin pours some of the liquid into a shot glass and hands it to Suga.
