~Zelda~
Theres a demon inside of my trying to break free. It scratchs at the chains I've put up to block it. I'm being pulled into darkness by it, I can hear it telling me to let it take control. I feel so much pain as its trying to change me.
I scream with the remainder of breath I have left. It hurts so much.
"Zelda!" I hear him yell.
I manage to open my eyes to see him covering his ears.
Link! Link make it go away!" I scream holding my side.
The pain in his eyes are too much to take, he can do nothing to help me.
There are voices inside my head telling me to let go, to give up, go to the dark side.
I stop screaming and look over and Link, he places his hand on mine, "It's going to be okay."
I shake my head, "you know it's not."
I look into his eyes and he gasps, "Your eyes, thier red."
"No! No no no no no!" I scream again. "This can't be happening! Link make it stop!"
"What can I do? There has to be something." He says so calmly.
"I don't want to be dark, I don't want to be with him, I just want to be with you." I whisper the last part hoping he doesn't hear.
He nods. And stands up. "I'll be right back."
He runs away from me leaving me alone.
I hear footsteps coming towards me, it must be Link, I hope he didn't hurt himself walking so much.
I wait for him to say my name, or at least a word, but I hear nothing.
The steps are getting louder as they get closer.
I close my eyes listening to the foot steps getting closer, they stop.
I open them to see a Bublin standing in front of me. I gasp.
It whispers something that I do not understand.
"Link!" I scream.
It pulls and arrow from its quiver.
"Link!" I scream again louder.
It aims for me. "No! Please!" I scream.
He shoots it and it hits me in the stomach.
The pain is unbearable. I have no air left in my lungs to scream.
The Bublin walks towards me but is slashed with a sword and killed. Link.
"Zelda!"
He rushes over to me. "No! Please no!" He yells.
I can see the tears building up. "This is all my fault. I'm so sorry." He crys.
I can feel the beast inside me ripping through the chains, it will break free any minute.
He pulls out his horse call again and plays the tune. "We have to get you help."
I shake my head. "It's too late." I try to say, but nothing comes out.
I stands waiting for Epona, but looking at me.
I can feel the beast breaking through. It's almost out.
"It was always you, from the beginning, but every time I tried to say it, something always stopped me, now; it's death."
He didn't hear any of it. Not a word.
The beast broke the last chain, I closed my eyes and let it take over; there's no use in fighting any longer.
~Link~
In my sleep I dreamed about finding a spring near by; there were fairies to heal her, I need to find it.
I follow the path that my dream showed me. It should be near. I can feel the moisture in the air.
I can see the bright fairies in the distance, I begin to walk faster when I hear a scream.
"Link!"
I'm only steps away from the spring as she screams my name again.
"Link!"
I turn around and sprint to her as fast as I can. With my injuries still fresh it is very hard to run, but she is my motivation.
"No! Please!" She screams again. Someone is with her.
I push myself harder to run faster. I pull out my sword and without looking stab whatever is standing in front of her.
I stop to see what I killed; a bublin.
I look over at her to see an arrow through her stomach.
I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart.
"Zelda!" I run over to her.
I see her injury closer, her dress is staining with blood.
"No! Please no!" I yell. I can feel myself starting to cry.
"This is all my fault. I'm so sorry."
How could I let this happen? I shouldn't have left her alone. Now she's dieing all over again.
The only thing I can think of is getting her help. I pull out my horse call once more. I wait. But once again. She doesn't come.
"We have to get you help."
She trys to say something but no words come out.
She slowly starts to close her eyes. "No! Stay with me! Please!" But she's gone.
I can't cry, I know he'll be here soon to take her to the dark side.
I can feel his presence. He's almost here. I pull out my sword and wait for him.
He appears behind a large tree "let her go, it's too late now, unless she turns dark" he grins.
"I'd rather her dead."
He laughs and pulls out his sword as well.
"You've made a terrible mistake."
What?
"When she wakes up she won't remember you, he first thought will be to kill you because your light. She will forget everything."
I shake my head. "She won't forget me!"
I run at him and slash my sword. He quickly blocks it with his sword.
"Give up."
"Never!" I scream.
He brings his shield up and hits it against my chest making me lose my balence.
I use the weight of my shield and pull myself up.
I'm about to swing at him again when my neck is pulled down. I can feel cool breath against my skin. Something is whispered in my ear, but I do not understand it. It's a different language.
I turn around to see her. She is too different. Her beautiful blue eyes now red. Her long brown hair now grey.
She steps towards me and grabs the collar of my shirt. She says something again that I don't understand and throws me against a tree.
"Isn't she amazing?" He grins while he wraps his arm around her waist.
He speaks the different language to her and she smiles and says something back.
"What is she saying?"
"That she wants to kill you."
He smirks and let's her go.
She walks towards me and I look for my sword. I look up and see that its near her feet.
She picks it up and points to towards me. I cannot understand the words that come out of her mouth, but when I glance over at my Dark Side he mouths
"your dead."
