Beginning again

Happy New Years! I'm late lol but school started again😭 back to worrying about grades

*Y/N's POV*

"What about Soo Mi..?" I asked Jin, trying not to think about the kiss that sent me butterflies.

"I broke up with her." He answered without hesitation.

"I...I really missed you..I just couldn't help it.." He looked right into my eyes, full of sincerity.

"I did too..it's just, I wasn't sure about how you really felt." I mumbled back after looking away shyly.

"It's fine..I was too. But now I really have you back as mine right?" He smiled and my heart jumped as he said that.

I nodded as a reply and he smiled widely.

"Ah I...I really longed for this.." he chuckled, which brought a wide smile to my face as I agreed.

We both decided to spend the day together so we could catch up on things we couldn't from the two years we were apart. I talked about all the places I went and the struggle of college from the past two years. Jin talked about how annoying it was to be with Soo Mi and how arrogant and spoiled she was. He looked like he was about to gag every time he said her name. I giggled at the sight of him wanting to gag at the name.

*Jin's POV*

I missed everything. Her smile, voice, laugh, hugs, kisses, everything. I regretted ever letting her go in the first place. But now I really have her back and I couldn't be more happy..

"Where do you wanna go next?" We just got back in the car after walking around the convenience store.

"What time is it?" She asked, eyeing the chips, drinks and ramyun.

"Mmm six forty-five pm." I glanced at my phone.

"Oh! The sun sets in about an hour or two. Let's go to the beach!" She pulled out her camera from her purse and smiled.

"You carry your camera around with you?" I chuckled.

"Of course! You never know when you might see something so beautiful you just wanna keep it forever."

"Like you?" I smiled and she giggled.

"Oh my gosh...you're still cheesy as ever. I love it." Her giggle turns into a loud laughter.

"And I love you." I spat out. She let out a shaky "I love you too." While laughing and hitting my arm.

I laughed at her not being able to breathe properly from laughing, "you really do laugh easily huh?"

She nodded, trying to catch her own breath.

We laughed about more dumb things for another five minutes before finally pulling off to go to the beach. Another 15 minute drive, which meant y/n singing loudly and dancing for another 15 minutes. I guess I really needed someone like her in my life. She was just full of energy and fluff, I can't help but smile widely when I'm with her..

"Alright alright, we're here now, you can stop damaging your vocal chords." I laughed again as she suddenly stopped.

"Hey I'm not damaging it, I'm improving it." She eyed me with her shoulder up in a cocky way.
