Going Over Life pt. 2

*flashback*

"I don't like the color blue." Jin stared at the gift I gave him.

Y/n just stared at me. She's the new girl isn't she. At least she's fortunate to get to sit by him.

I quietly sighed and left the gift after exchanging a few more words with him. The guy I've had a crush on since the start of highschool rejected me once again. Come on now, it's already Junior year Soo Mi and you still can't even move him.

"Good evening class. Today's your lucky day because today we will be working with class B2 the next month!" Everyone groans as our study hall teacher announces her surprise excitedly.

"Why? We're perfectly fine without them!" A student complains.

"Oh come on now students-"

"I don't even know who's all in that class. That's how much we don't care about them." Another student mumbles.

"You need this for a grade and if you wanna graduate and get out of this living hell, I suggest you follow my instructions and work with class B2 starting today." The teacher smiles brightly even though those were the scariest words she's said this whole school year.

Everyone else goes silent. I look over my shoulder to see Jin wearing his headphones and spacing out at the view of the window. God he's so handsome..

"Um hello?" I get interrupted by a deep voice and turn around. A tall guy with glasses and a hair cut that seems to have been a failure stands in front of me. He looks at me with an awkward smile and his deep dimples makes his smile cuter.

"Who are you?" I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat, irritated about my disturbed fantasizing.

"Kim MinGyu. I'm from class B2 and I'm supposed to be tutoring you for the next few weeks." He shyly pushes his glasses back up from slipping down.

"Whatever I'm Soo Mi." I cross my arms.

"I know..pretty much everyone knows you."

"Of course they do." A smirk slides across my face, "sit down I guess. I don't know shxt about anything anyway."

I look over to the nerd to see him pulling books out of his backpack.

"What should we start with? Math? Korean history?" He gave me a warm smile.

"Math I guess." I sat up at how surprisingly nice he is even though I just treated him like trash.

The whole hour was spent learning about everything I don't pay attention to in school. Surprisingly he's a very good explainer. Days pass and I've spent most of my time being tutored by MinGyu. My grades have been improving and he has been acting more and more strange everytime we meet up.

"Meet me in the study hall room during lunch?" He asked since we usually always meet up for tutoring.

"Yeah. I'll bring my food." I shrugged and walk over to EunYoung and MiYoung.

"I swear he likes you or something." MiYoung scoffs and crosses her arms, "nerd."

"He just seems like a tutor to me." EunYoung shrugs.

"He's just my tutor. I mean he's nice not gonna lie, which is surprising. At least I don't have to go to that stupid after school academy to get my grades up anymore."

"You're right I guess. But he acts so strange around you. What if he asks you out?" Meeting suggests and laughs.

I looked at the door MinGyu walked out from earlier. He doesn't like me, right? He's been acting strange but I'm sure that's just how he is. He's too nice I wouldn't wanna hurt him.

"Umm helloo? Earth to the one and only Soo Mi??" EunYoung was waving her hands in my face.

"Oh what did you say?" I snap my head back to face them.

"We were just talking about how low you would be in the school class ranking if you actually dated him." MiYoung covered her mouth and started laughing loudly.

"He's not that weird." I chuckle trying to defend him.

MiYoung wasn't wrong though. I would've made fun of if a rumour of me dating a complete nerd broke or and was actually true. Doesn't matter. I only love Jin and that's who I'm going for anyway

I let out a deep breath and wait for my food.

"I'll see you guys later." I grabbed my tray and wave at the girls.

"Don't ruin your popularity Soo Mi!" MiYoung yells out and EunYoung lightly hours her with her elbow telling her to shut up.

I let out a small giggle and continue to walk up the stairs and his into the study room. When I arrive, I see MinGyu sitting at the middle desk in the front row. The usual place that we sit. The sound of my shoes shuffling against the wood floor alerts him look up.

"Oh..hey!" He smiles nervously.

"Something wrong?" I chuckle and sit in my usually spot which is next to him, "looks like you've seen a ghost or something."

"Oh..no I'm fine." He lets out an awkward wide smile.

"So," I take a bite out of the lunch, "what are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"Okay."

The awkward conversation ends shortly and I'm sitting there eating the rest of my lunch. MinGyu let's out a loud cough which startles me causing me to flinch and look over at him.

"Soo Mi?" He fiddles with his thumbs.

"Yeah?"

"I think I like you." He faces the board and looks down at his hands.

"Um.." I nearly choke on my food and cough for a bit.

"I don't think that's a good idea-" I put my chopsticks down.

"Yeah, I know I'm sorry. I didn't know why I did that." He laughs nervously.

"Just forget that ever happened." He took out the math book and started going over the problems we had to do.

I felt bad for giving him that answer. I know I saw it coming but I didn't think it would happen so fast. The next thirty minutes was spent awkwardly talking about the problems and how nice the weather was that day.

*Back to present*

I give him a long kiss and smile widely at him, "of course."

"Any regrets from highschool?" He looks at me with his mouth stuffed with kimbap.

"A lot." I chuckled, "I did some stupid shxt." MinGyu nods and takes a sip of his banana milk.

"You?" I grab the banana milk and do the same as him.

"Not really. I do regret that haircut though." He laughs and runs his fingers through his perfect messy hair.

We continued laughing and talking about more things we did in highschool. It would go quiet so etjmes after I talk about the horrible things I did to y/n and her friends.

"I want to apologize to her when I see her. Sincerely." The thought of apologizing to her gave me so much anxiety. I really did feel bad for doing such awful things.
