The book was filled with thousands of strange symbols that glimmered on the pages, as they skimmed through the pages they saw that some had drawings of people and a huge type of monster terrorizing a population of people. When they reached the last page of the book there was a drawing of two completely different snowflakes and below them, they were drawn one on top of the other.
Jake and Elsa didn't know what to think of this, the book seemed so surreal to them.
"What do we do about this?" Jake asked Elsa.
Elsa thought hard about this for a while; only one thing occurred to her.
"We have to take this book to Papa troll he has to know what this book says." She said at last.
"Then off we go, show me the way." Jack told her as he lifted her in his arms and flew the both of them out the window of the library and to the sky. His actions would seem a bit drastic to others but after having fought Pitch he couldn't stand the thought of having another being trying to terrorize the world.
Elsa was completely stunned by how quickly he took action, but by the look in his eyes, she could tell that he had previous experience with something this big.
As they kept on rising in the air Elsa held tightly to Jack and the book; she could feel the blush creeping onto her cheeks.
"Snowflake where to?" Jack asked her. She turned her face looking away from him so that he wouldn't see her red face; as she searched around she saw the trail that leads to the trolls home, she told him to follow the dirt trail. He did as told.
They flew over the treetops and practically in a blink of an eye they reached their destination. When they landed Jack set Elsa down, not really happy about having to do so.
"Umm ice queen not to be rude or anything... but I only see rocks here." Jack said as he looked around only seeing boulders.
"Just given them a minute." she said with a smile and then started to call out for Papa troll. Jack thought that the cold had finally gotten to her, but then the ground started to rumble and the rocks were moving around everywhere.
One of the biggest rocks was heading to where Elsa was standing, Jack flew to where she was and put himself in front of her in a shield type of way, he had his eyes closed waiting for the impact but it never arrived. He finally opened his eyes and was stunned to see a troll in front of him; he looked around and they were surrounded by hundreds of trolls.
"Umm Jack... you can let go of me now..." Elsa said.
Jack hadn't even noticed that he was practically bear hugging Elsa. He slowly let go of her and turned back to the troll in front of him.
"Sorry about that I saw a rock coming straight at Elsa and as a guardian, it's my job to keep people safe." Jack apologized for the misunderstanding.
"Don't worry about it; I can see that you are another fixer-upper." The mother looking troll said to him. Jack had a very confused face after hearing her.
"What?" jack asked not understanding what she had meant.
"Well, you're just like Kristof a fixer-upper, how are you suppose to marry Elsa if you don't wear shoes and your looking pale and you carry a cane around? "
Jack and Elsa both looked wide-eyed at the troll. Elsa spoke first before the trolls could start their fixer-upper song. "We're here to see Papa troll... not to get married.."
Right after she had said that Papa troll came rolling down. "My queen what has happened?" he asked.
Elsa explained the whole situation with the book and then proceed to hand it to him. Papa troll started to examine it; he had a very bad feeling about this book. He understood pieces of it but not enough to tell them anything clearly.
"Leave the book with me I want to decipher it and when I do then I will tell you what it says." He said at last.
"Thanks, Papa troll"
With that being said Elsa and Jack said their goodbyes and went flying off to the castle once again.
But what they didn't know was that miles away under the snow there was something growing...
