◇ Chapter 16 ◇

"Knock Knock"

Elsa got up from her bed and wiped away the tears from her face and then gave permission to come in while she tried her best to put on a strong face.

"My Queen there are some guest down at the courtyard looking for you." A guard told her.

"Guest? At a time like this? Did they give you a name?" she asked.

"Yes, they call themselves the 'Guardians'." He said awkwardly.

Her eyes widen at the realization.

"I'm heading to meet them, keep standing alert if anything heads our way." With that, she dismissed him and started heading to the courtyard.

Once she arrived she was quite taken aback by the group, not your typical people to say the least...

Jack walked over to her, quite hesitant in doing so when he was a couple of steps in front of her he said:

"Elsa we have come to help you defeat Macar and rescue Anna and Kristof and before you shut me out I want you to know that there is no way that we are leaving this all to you. You may be the queen of Arendelle but that doesn't mean we can't give you a hand."

Tears prickled Elsa's eyes she couldn't believe that even though she had treated him so poorly Jack still wanted to help, she honestly didn't deserve this amiability at all.

"Thank you" was all she could say if she didn't want to break out crying in front of the whole group.

"You're welcome." he said as he gave her a hug to comfort her and himself as well.

In that hug, all the apologies had been said and accepted.

"So let me introduce you to the gang." Jack said as he pulled away from the hug (sad for both parts)

"This is Red, or how you probably know him 'Santa'."

"Hi, Queen Elsa it's nice to meet you, even under these circumstances." Said Red.

"It's still a pleasure to meet you." Elsa said with stars in her eyes.

"This is Sandy or the 'Sandman' as he's better known; P.S he's not a man of many words." Jack said the second part in more of a whisper so that only she could hear.

Elsa understood immediately since Sandy started to make many symbols above his head.

"It's nice to meet you too." She really didn't understand what the symbols meant but it appears she was right in her answer.

"Over here we have Tooth or as you can guess 'The Tooth fairy'." Jack introduced.

Elsa gave her a smile and right as she was about to say it was nice to meet her as well Tooth went straight to her mouth with her hands.

"Wow! You still have amazing white teeth! I swear you're in my top ten favorites back at my place!" Tooth said extremely cheerful.

"Tooth! You're scaring the lady!" Elsa heard an Australian accent come from aside.

Tooth moved and apologized, Elsa gave her a nod that said 'No worries' even though she had been pretty taken aback.

"And well you already heard him, so this is Bunny or as you've heard 'The Easter Bunny'." Jack said finally finishing up the introductions.

"Nice to meet ya mate" Bunny said quite casually.

"Nice to meet you; you're a lot taller than what I imagined." Elsa said with such a sweet smile that Bunny decided not to say anything with respect to her comment.

"I really would like to thank you all for coming to help, I'm sure Jack already informed you of the situation so it means a lot to me that you'd come to our aid." Elsa words were formal but still, you could feel the meaning behind her words.

"Don't worry Snowflake, we are the Guardians it's our job to help and protect others, together we'll show Macar who's really in charge."

As Jack said those words a rumbling came, and it was heading straight for the castle...
