Frosted Fate

♢ Chapter 15 ♢

Jack looked at the door in his face. He had never felt more ashamed of himself ever before. Elsa was right, it was his fault that Anna and Kristof were taken away, he should have been quicker and more on guard than what he was. 

how was he suppose to winning over Elsa's heart if he couldn't even do his job right? and worst of all how was he suppose to stop this monster, it felt as if only by luck Elsa and Him got out of there alive. 

The only thing Jack knew in that moment was that he need help, so that Elsa would forgive for not keeping his promise and so that this monster could be defeated. So with that thought in mind, he headed flying to the North Pole. 

after a while he arrived and went looking straight for Red, the Yetis showed him the way, once they saw the determined glare in Jack's eyes deciding best not to mess with him at the moment.

Jack entered Reds private workshop area and saw that he was tinkering with a little toy train.

"Jacky boy! how nice to see you again! how you've been?" Santa said as he turned around in his chair.

Jack went straight to the point leaving all small-chat down the drain.

"red, I need your help and also of the rest of the guardians. there is a new threat to the world and I cant defeat on my own." after that jack explained the whole situation from start to finish to red excluding the part about his feelings for Elsa. 

"I see... I will call the others right now." said red while he went out and sounded the alarm so that the other would come. 

after a couple of minutes, the other Guardians arrived and jack and red explained to them the situation.

"By golly, I thought that pitch was really our only problem I didn't even know about the existence about this Macar fellow." Bunny said after he received the whole explication as to why he was called. 

"You'd think I would know about this monster if it's true what you say about those tremendous tusks he has" answered tooth.

"we need to make a plan to stop this monster, he is like nothing we've ever faced before." said red.

They all spent the next hour strategizing a plan of attack, once they were happy with the plan they all geared up. tooth, Bunny, and Sandy headed Santa's sleigh, Jack started heading their way as well but Santa told Jack to wait up for a moment. 

"Jack I know there's something you are not telling me, I can see it on your face. this mission is not only about protecting and saving the world from danger is it?" Red had seen right through Jack as always. Jack knew that Red would make him spill one way or other told him about the situation with Elsa. 

"Ho ho ho, now everything makes more sense..." Red reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. " I suggest you read this, my boy, I don't think the queen was actually mad at you, but in reality, at herself, you were just there to take the punch. Queen Elsa has had a hard life and she's just starting to really start living and getting her life sorted out." With that said red handed of the piece of paper that seemed a bit old to Jack, then he headed out to meet the others in the sleigh. 

Jack unfolded the piece of paper and read its contents, soon after understanding the situation. but he still felt responsible and the only thing that this paper did was make him want to help more... so he went dashing off with the others heading straight to Arendalle. 

"Dear Santa,

All I want this Christmas is to get rid of these powers... all they do is hurt the people I love. I feel horrible all the time... I can't have fun with Anna anymore because I might hurt her. I even have to wear gloves just in case but I feel that it's just not enough.  I'm scared all the time... I honestly don't know what to do other than shut myself away from everyone... please... please... Santa I'm begging you to do anything you can to take this curse away from me.

Meanwhile back at the castle, Elsa was in a frenzy, she had been attacked with questions from everyone. about what to do, where they should go, if the monster would be back, everything was overwhelming, she answered and commanded everything she was asked and then she headed to her room.  

She felt horrible from head to toe, first her sister had been taken away, then she had to take care of all the mess that Macar had caused to her people and to top it off she had been disgustingly rude to Jack who she knew really had no fault in anything... she just had to many feelings at the moment and she exploded on him. 

"Oh, Jack... what have I done... he didn't deserve to be treated that way." She said to herself while she sat on her bed looking down at her hands.

Jack had been nice to Elsa ever since they met, while she had not, even on the first day they had met she all but almost smashed him into a wall. He had brought joy, laughter, and fun to her life something she had always needed. He made her smile and was there for her even though they have only known each other for such a short time, but for some reason, it felt right. But now that would all go down the drain after what she had said to him, she could only hope that he could forgive her. 

As she thought about all that five guardians arrived at the castle courtyard, ready to take Macar down.

Yeiii it's finally up! I'm really sorry for it taking so long, I had a bit of writer's block, but the next chapters are going to be good I have things a bit planned out. That's why I made this chapter a bit longer as my apology for taking forever to write... 

I hope you guys like the chapter.
